*Note:
The times of 7 drivers (from 5 teams) were disallowed for driving in the opposite direction through pitlane.
In the case of cars 39, 15 and 11, all their drivers committed this offense, therefore all the team's times were erased and thus failed to qualify.

Whew!! We managed to make the cut in 28th! Not great but, we have not missed a cut yet!

We qualified due in large part to the ridiculous stupidity of a few teams.

In last year's Westhill round, several teams were driving the wrong way down pitlane to (I assume) avoid doing a warm up lap? Anyway, the teams were REPEATEDLY warned not to do it this year, as ALL the times set by that driver would be erased.

Well, 7 drivers still didn't listen. Including the ENTIRE roster for #11, 15 and 39. :| Thanks to that, they are currently pegged with a DNQ. :orglaugh:

From our end, thank goodness for that. All three teams qualified faster than us. Had their times stood, it would have bumped us down to 31st, and a DNQ.

In fact, rForce (#39) set a scorching lap which I believe would have put them 2nd in amongst Pre-Qualifying teams.....

Tomorrow at 4pm is proper qualifying, with the 30 qualified teams to set the grid. Stay tuned!

The full race

Note Zoltan flying around at the 45:00 mark in the video. (Commentator Thilo Falkenberg having... as he always have.... an inability to figure out our team name :orglaugh: ) We re-appear again at the ~51:00 mark.

Anyway, we started 26th, and right away Zoltan Gacsi drove the balls off the car. At the driver swap 1 hour in, we were 15th!

Jonathan Bjornson held the ship going for the last 2 hours, holding onto 15th until a spin dropped us to our finishing spot of 18th place! :)

We are extremely consistent and rarely appear on camera, since we try to be as ultra-prepared as possible. Every tire stop, drop of fuel, tire temps, driver strengths... it is all accounted for to plan a race. Since we don't just "wing it", we seem to beat some of the bigger teams on intelligence.

It's not the most "hollywood" way to be competitive, but it seems to work for us !
