Was in here looking for info on getting involved in some real racing (well lapping days to start, or maybe AutoSlalom) and noticed there were quite a few iRacers in here. If you are looking for a casual league to run in the "Regulars" run a league on Tuesday nights, two 20 minute races per night with the first race qualifying stating at 8:15 pm Atl, and the second race wrapping up by about 9:45.

Signing up is free, though you have to "buy" the iracing cars and tracks if you don't have them. We are running 2 separate series on alternate weeks, one using the Start Mazda and the other the Spec Racer Ford (though will probably change the SRF to another car when season 3 starts in August). We have a wide range of drivers in terms of both skill and age so there is usually someone to race with near your level. The racing is much cleaner than what you'll find on the official servers. Some of us have been racing together online for over 10 years and new drivers are always welcome.

There is more info in the link below including the schedule for both series, or send me a message if you are interested in giving it a try.

Now, back to reading the ASN solosport regs... it can't be that complicated, really?

Thanks Ken. I'd definitely be interested in the SM series. Is it all local people?

I second Scott's sentiment. Thanks for posting the information, always good to get together with more people from the region.

Depends on how you define "local".

There's me and a couple Capers. Probably about half from Ontario and the rest through the eastern half of the states. We used to have guys from UK, Italy, even a kiwi at one point but the time difference got to them after a while. A good bunch of guys, they'll race you close but none the are win-at-all-cost types, and if they do mess up they'll take the blame for it and apologize.

Would be good to have a few more "locals"... based on the Capers they think we're half crazy on this coast.

The next SM race is this Tuesday at Watkins Glen Classic Boot. Scott and Ryan, will send a PM with the server info. Anyone else interested let me know.
