Well we had a poor turn out tonight, only 4 people started the race.
My fastest lap was a 1:32.0 (keeping it clean, no Varga or Joel lines)

Trevor had to drop about 3/4 through the race.
Alek dropped with 3 or 4 laps left to go.
With 1 lap left I was 1 lap ahead but my PS3 froze, I could still talk to Rob, but I had to actually pull the plug to reboot it.

So once I came back online we decided to do a 1 lap race to determine the winner. I crossed the finish line 1st, clearly ahead of Rob and the computer gave me a time of 1:43.5 and Rob a time of 1:44.0 however it awarded the win to Rob. :? :? :?

Where it would normally say +x.xx seconds, it read -x.xx seconds next to my name. Very bizarre :!:
We decided that the computer/fate was trying to tell us something and gave Rob the win.

REMINDER: Spa is DLC and must be purchased if you don't already own it.

I just ran 3 laps at Spa (in the dry), my best lap was 1:49.860... and no I'm not flat through Eau Rouge.
Correction, for some reason that lap above was with my La Sarthe setup.

Going back to my regular setup I did a 1.46.8 on my first hot lap, and yes, now I am flat through Eau Rouge (what a difference downforce makes, hehe  )!

I'm going to miss Thursday night. My Dad gave me tickets to "The Avengers" premiere.

I can't see outside my house for the black flies, it's like the sun has already set.

Well, I really got involved with this series :( The only time the PS3 has been on in the last while for any amount of time, it is so my girls can play Plants vs Zombies hehe. I'm hoping that the wife feels better soon, and is able to help with the kids a little more, and I can get back at some racing again!

Only Rob, Alek and I were on last night.
We decided to postpone Spa until next Thursday night.
For fun we ran a short 20 lap race with Touring Cars @ Spa.

We'll find something to do on Sunday (if people still have energy after 2 days of autoslalom), maybe another Touring Car race @ 580pp.

I just logged on and no-ones around. I'm guessing there is nothing going tonight? Just my luck, first night in 2-3 weeks I can run and there is nothing happening,

Jason was doing the auto slalom this weekend, and I just dozed off (Sunday afternoon doze off at the age of 28) and woke up now. We will be running SPA on Thursday I believe.

Hey, I'm only 29 and have naps all the time...but I also have 2 jobs and 2 kids, hehe. I just played around with SPA for an hour or so, but not in the FGT. Been almost 3 weeks, and I'd rather spend time learning the track than cursing a poorly setup FGT!!

Reminder that tonight is the final race in the series, Spa!

I have 1st place locked up and I think Alek is safe in 2nd and Rob is secure in 3rd.
However 4th place could go to Alex, Trevor or Scott.

See everyone tonight!

May need to start a few minutes late... IE 8:20~8:30.
Due to this I will ensure the start of Spa is dry.

Harrod we see you are having trouble joining.
We will wait for you. So far it's only Alek, Rob & myself.

Big thanks to everyone who came out and helped make this series possible!
Since GT5 started I've always wanted to run a Formula series as close to the real thing as possible and I think we achieved that with this series.

This will be my last official series until October. If someone else wants to organize a series, please feel free. Maybe we could just reduce it down to Thursday nights and have fun races every week. Whatever works.

Thanks again all!

Good racing last night.

I've been wanting to do a DTM/TC series since we've starting do this. So I think that this Thursday we have a fun night and run some sedan race cars. PP would be around 600. If there is enough interest we could do a series, but for now just run for fun.

I'm sorry i couldn't be there for the last few races guys, life getting in the way unfortunately. I had a blast though and oddly enough i think racing in the FGT helped me with my other cars, so technical. Good fun all.
