Loving the cobra - I especially like that it has a trailer hitch!

Here's a good starting point for another auto-x Sonoma.

This looks like something I would do (He even did it up in the same colour as my wannabe M3):

That is amazing. They did a really nice job adapting the wide-body to the rear of the car.

Na, I just wanted one of each from the 70's and 80's ...that's too new for me 8)

(...but there was a Cayman S on Kijiji for $23K yesterday that caught my eye, and Wayne let me drive his 996 last night that my 911 would have a hard time keeping up to)

Stacy
BTW congrats on your car purchase Martin, Malibu's are a good solid vehicle from what I've seen

Running Porsche 944 for sale in the Saint John area ...I heard he will take $1200

Image
http://saintjohn.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehic ... Z401231049

BTW this car is in a shared driveway with the French Village convience store ...so you can sort of saunter over too it between licks of your ice cream (all non-chalant like with no committal to meet the owner to discuss  )

1984 BMW 318i Turbo

http://novascotia.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi ... Z409367718

Took a look at this one myself. E30 M10B18 with a toyota turbo and megasquirt. Body is good for an e30 - little bit of surface rust and dents/scratches, but solid underneath. Says it dynoed 235 to the wheels @ 13psi. Certainly felt that way - it felt faster than my old 330i which was 235 crank.

It'd make a great slalom/track car, I just don't have space for 3 since I still plan on getting an m3.

You know, I thought briefly that maybe I should be posting this in the "Good rally cars for sale" thread...

...After all it's an Audi Coupe with a big engine and legendary AWD 8)

However in the end me thinks that it may not survive the first yump at the Ledwidge Lookoff Rally ...so I submit to the "Good sports car for sale" thread this 2009 Audi R8 in Moncton with 14K on it for $55K:

At that price I would say it already did the Rally and has been repaired. That is extremely cheap and I would be very wary if I was looking into it for real. Great car though even with the V8.

It's the only P car (from the 70's and 80's) I don't have 8)

...but I plan to turn one of my 944's into a 924GTS clone so I think I'm covered

They put much more than that into the engine and drive train alone. They used some trick parts and it took a lot of work to do the T56 conversion and keep it AWD. Syclones are notoriously unreliable when you start modifying them but they went all out to make this one work. They also did some proper aero engineering to make it stable at high speeds. It ran 125 mph in the 1/4 and 165 mph in the standing mile - not bad for a 6 cyl truck set up for a road course.

There's no doubt that for $75k you'd really have to want it for the uniqueness factor
