I hadn't done any races at Sebring prior to this weekend, and had never driven the HPD ARX01c before, but with a bit of practice I was starting to get the hang of it by the time the big event rolled around yesterday.
I qualified 9/38 and had worked my way up to 3rd by the first round of pit stops. Was doing really well and making no mistakes... Maybe one dropped wheel in 45 minutes of racing. Then while navigating through back-markers, a Scandinavian dude made an overly aggressive attempt to pass and pushed me out into the wall. That was it for me. The car was unrepairable.

After calling him out in text chat, the dude felt so bad that he voluntarily retired from the race; then sent me multiple PM's apologizing and even offered to credit me money for the cost of the car & track. I didn't take him up on it, but appreciated the sentiment.
Anyway, that was my experience. It was pretty fun up to that point. Looking forward to trying another endurance road race in the future.
