Hmmm...started out with a few issues and ended the night with a "rip-roaring" goodtime in the rally cars on a course designed by a twisted mind.

Hard to drive a serious race when the tears of laughter are streaming down your face and the clouds of dirt of the leading cars are blocking your view but then you hear, in the headphones, that your competitors are having the same problems and off you go in search of the lead and the cleaner air that goes with that position.

Now I took the approach of helping any driver, I found along the way, find their way thru the haze and point them towards the light...may not have been the light they were looking for but it felt good anyways!! 8O :P

It would appear that my "style" of driving requires a vehicle with multiple speeds in reverse gear...not sure why that is but why fight the obvious, just build a car that fits my style!! 8)

Jason S...no need to thank me for straightening out your car when I found you sideways in the dirt...just doing my job !!! :P :orglaugh:

I suppose it's too much to ask to be pointing the right way on a rally stage isn't it?

I just had one of those nights where my finishes didn't quite equal where I was running all night. If I was able to get 1 more lap out of those tires in the last race, it would look much better!! I REALLY like running this car though, kinda wish it was a longer series!!

Hey...I found myself in a corner that looked like a Sobeys parking lot and the only exit I could see was on the "Otherside" of your car...and the shortest distance was a straight line to it...just saying!!

Well we've got 4 nights of two races each... do we want to extend it to 5 nights?
And/or make a grand finale night with a 2hr enduro race?

I really like the endurance race, and I'm not against another night with the cars. I'll just show up and race whatever!!

Would be nice to see it go a couple more nights, I've had things on the go for the first two.

I think an endurance race at the end is a good idea.

According to the PSN it will be down for maintenance tomorrow:

Start: 23/02/2012 14:00 GMT (10am AST)
Finish: 23/02/2012 23:00 GMT (7pm AST)

It should be done before our 8pm start time, but if people are unable to join and/or we experience any network issues/disconnects we will call it a non-points night.

I have a hockey game at 7 and as much as I'd love to rush home and race, the early game usually means more time to sit around the rink and drink beer.

I'll never condemn anyone for sitting around drinking beer!!

*EDIT* Seeing as there is already a few people not going to be there tonight, the maintenance, and, probably most importantly, it's my wife's birthday, I'll likely miss tonight

Thanks
Stacy

Great racing last night.

During the first race Alek and I had a very intense 8 lap battle for 1st place, swapping positions more times than I can count and both of us racing very clean!

The 2nd race was a sh!t show for me and I was lucky to walk away with 2nd place. Alek totally dominated that race from the first corner to the last, well done! With that, Alek managed to put and end to my perfect score in the series so far.

Last Night was Fun. I forgot how much better it is when you have a mic.

me ending up in 2nd on High Speed Ring was a total fluke considering i had a head on collision with the pit wall on the 3rd lap. Highspeed Ring started off pretty well had a huge lead on 3rd for most of the race But having to pit 3 times killed me on this track.

I was pretty disappointed about missing last nights races, I was looking forward to Deep Forest, but leaving my wife alone to go online racing on her birthday wouldn't have ended well, hehe, I may miss Sunday as well, depending on how long Daytona goes.
