OK,,,, it's winter. I'm bored. So Mell, Matt Nieman and I had the discussion and we are coming to Slemon again. Rented a house not far from the site. So, now, let the trash talk begin. Is it true that Brian P has installed NOS in a effort to beat Mell in the Neon challenge? Will Matt's new suspension set up make the car even faster.

D'oh, you found out. Actually, the Neon won't be there this year. Wedding in the family, you know the story. Butttt, if "Leon" was going to be there........I'll just leave it at that. You guys should head up the July 1st weekend to Digby, Yeah!!!!

The excuses some people come up with to avoid a butt whoopin......

What are the dates for Digby?

June 29, 30 and July 1st. Pick up available from the Digby Ferry, co-drive available for Mell or you in the Neon, I was going to just road race it this year, but will drag it down for you guys if needed.

Tossing around the idea of just driving up in the street car and see if we could line up a couple of co drives and spend some time touring Nova Scotia since we have not been there before. Will decide more as the date gets closer. Gotta get thru the winter and spring, get the new engine in the vintage Turner. Once that is done, then we can see where our schedule is.

Hi Joel and thanks for the offer. Maybe I should let Mell drive the Civic since she is the better driver. Knows how to handle a high HP car. Will keep you updated on our plans if we decide to make the trip. As for now, we are off on vacation and warm weather. Thanks again.

Hi Charles

Matt Nieman is bringing his turbo Miata and Mark will be there with his S2000. We will bring Mell's Neon again. Not sure about any of the other guys. Have not seen nor heard from them this winter. If all goes well, we may also come to the Digby event Gee, its only 5 months away and no one has signed up for Slemon.

I'm going to be making it there for the first time this year, pretty sad seeing as how it's 30 minutes from my house! Not sure If I'll be watching or participating yet, depends on how ready the Mustang is I guess.

Hehe, if it's not ready, I'll take the wife's car ('09 Malibu) I'm sure she won't mind! Although if the Mustang is ready, she may make a few laps herself!!

Nancy and I plan on going to Slemon this year but we're not sure about Digby yet (Nancy is not big fan of that venue -- too fast). If Lee and Mell decide to attend then we'll re-assess.

We'll be doing our best to be there, but you know. This would be my 10th straight year though so I really want to try, running or not.
