That Dodge Challenger is a nice looking car...will have to test that one to see if it can be competitive with the chevs.
And yet again there is no real ford product to bring into this contest...what's up with that?

Bummer, I'll miss all three of these. The C6 vette is one of my faves.

This will be my ride:

I tested the Challenger and the Corvette at Grand Valley at 630pp and Hard Tires, the Corvette in my hands is 5 seconds quicker per lap, plus it weighs less so it's easier on tires.

Fine looking ride you got there Alek...really!...5 seconds faster than the Challenger?

There must be something in that group that can challenge the Vette!!

Not really, the Challenger and the Camaro are in one class, and the Corvette's are in another. There is just to much weight difference, and with the tire wear the way it is, even when you get the Camaro and Challenger faster, they kill the tires much quicker than the Vette's do!! That is with the controller though, I'm sure you guys would be much better at getting tires lasting than I can.

Hmmm...the corvette is chevy's super car and the Viper is dodge's...maybe that is the secret?

What do you guys think about pushing this series back until Steve and others get back from Daytona.

We could run another short race series in the meantime.....

Thoughts? Objections?

I have always ran a blue car with yellow wheels, sometimes reversed. So when I saw that suit I knew it would match well with my team colors. :D

yep, have to have a different number and car color / wheel color combo. Other than that, it's fair game. There is only 4 cars allowed in this series, and hopefully going to be 12+ of us racing.

With the impromptu testing at deep forest reverse tonight, I was a little more than surprised at how close I was able to get the lap times in the 3 cars I drove. The fastest lap I turned tonight was in the Camaro at Deep Forest Reverse at 1:09:5XX , but the tire wear was pretty bad, 5-6 laps on the softs.

Yea Kevin, Jason and I ran several cars last night on Deep Forest and we were all within a second or two.
Even the ZR1 vs the Challenger.

Changed the name of the series to better reflect the cars and updated car restrictions.
Found some cars last night that were not on the list, decided to open it wide up.

With this being opened wide, I may have to look at some other cars, but I still love running the Z06, so it may not change! With no concepts or prototypes allowed, does that include the factory racecars such as the C5R and the LM Camaro?
