Excellent! I start to fade after 10pm.

And Tim G won't have any more excuses. :P

Ok I was able to create and continue a "tournament".
I can get the results from Race #1 and #3 and any new races but not last nights race.

Long story short I configured Race #1 to be part of a tournament, but for some reason it didn't register Race #2 as part of a tournament.
I've ensured that Race #3 is part of the tournament and all races going forward.
Maybe we can re-race Lime Rock sometime? I'd like a rematch against Varga 8)

That could work, especially since the race was cut short anyway.

For those that missed Scott's other post... there was a big update to iRacing recently.

Biggest change is probably the New Tire Model (NTM).
I haven't driven since the update, but Scott says about a dozen laps on the NTM should be enough to come to grip (pun) with it. He said it seems stickier that the old tire and he's able to put in slightly quicker lap times.

Full release notes on the update can be found here:
http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts ... 41248.page

One other note, specifically for our race tomorrow is a change to Laguna Seca.
Quote:
Laguna Seca
- Fixed a major bump on second to last straightaway.

Just FYI....

I wouldn't go so far as to say the tires offer more grip now... It's just that they're more responsive with the stiffer sidewalls. It gives you more confidence which may result in faster lap times. Although I didn't beat my personal best (came close), I was able to lap at a faster pace than before the NTM update.

...." on the road again ".... well I have beat my car into every barrier/wall and armco on the Lime Rock circuit trying to get the hang of this car and it's set up and I am just not able to feel comfortable in the seat yet...maybe time to run Leguna for awhile and see how good the corner marshals are at that facility. :P

I'm finding it hard to feel the slip angle of the front wheels and I am working on getting this brake pedal to be able to modulate it into corners....someday it will all work out...or so they say!

Brian....I need more seat time in your cars passenger seat!

...YUP!...count me in.

Unless I can get a race in this afternoon...this will be my first "race" and I will try to keep things clean and be as well behaved as possible...but!....I have noticed that I get a little carried away when other cars are on the track in practise sesions.

Come on Gordon...it's time to get in the game!! :P

Remember our races don't count towards your iRacing stats and SR.... it's just friends having fun!

Damn, I forgot to save the reply again.

Also, I still cannot see where iRacing keeps the points tally for hosted tournaments... :conf:

I looked into my crystal ball, and it told me that there will soon be a post about running Miatas @ Summit Point tomorrow (Wed) night.

I think we ran out of tracks to use that everybody has... Maybe we should start doing different configs of these tracks?

My vote is for Okayama short course  (...as long as it's not Laguna Seca for awhile, I really couldn't get the hang of that track at all )

I didn't see Summit point on my list of track options... Maybe I don't know where to look? That would be great if it was...

I see how I overlooked it now... The word Raceway (as in Summit Point Raceway) in between all the Speedways threw me :?

Don't mind the backmarker (me...) I'll just try and stay out of everybodies way
