Congratz on your win Scott!

Thanks. It was totally unexpected. If you look at the lap times, I should have placed 3rd or 4th.

I think the next one should be at Lime Rock, again with the Miatas. And perhaps start an hour earlier (i.e. 8:00pm).

Weatherbee... Was it iHud or iRaceDash you were talking about? I'm guessing RaceDash....

That's so cool! And I happen to have both an iPad & iPod Touch. Hmmmm....

There's an iRaceDash version for Android, too.

https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... rch_result

I've got a 7" Android tablet that would make a nice little dash. I find I can't even look at the on-screen one. Takes me way too long to figure out what I'm looking for.

Scott if you look at the "average lap time" I should have been first!
But that mishap on lap 1 put me way behind.
(Yes I know Brian, Brian and at least Paul were screwing around the first few laps which is why their ALT it higher, but I'll take my little victories).

Yea we missed you last night Kevin!
Gord where were you?

Had to get stuff done before heading to Toronto this afternoon. Didn't get infront of the computer until 9:40. I joined and watched some laps and ran some too but I have no idea if it actually put me in your session or not. There were cars, they were passing me, I spent time in the gravel trap, I went to bed. :)

I'd love to start at 8pm but I work until 9pm next Wednesday :(
However 8pm will work for the next 4 Wednesdays after that.

So next Wednesday 9pm Lime Rock, in the Mazda's?
I have the time purchased (purchased it a few days ago).

Sounds like you were ghost racing.

What exactly is Ghost racing? Was I visible in the session? The cars that were passing me definitely seemed aware. I didn't show up on the lap times of course.

See the link Scott posted.... basically you can race and see the other racers, but they can't see you. So you don't actually interfere with the actual race, but actually get a feeling of what it's like to race with other cars.

Yeah, I posted at the same time as Scott. Interesting, but the cars I was racing with definitely seemed to see me. They were making passing maneuvers at least, I didn't hit any of them. :)

Weird. Anyway, I like Okayama, I've done a lot of laps on it so I'm reasonably comfortable with the layout. Just a matter of applying that to repeatable laps.

Was a fun race, I had a good thing going until I screwed my pitstop and put WAY too much fuel in, lost my gap to 2nd, ended up coming out just in front of Brian G and there was no way I could stay ahead with the fuel load, he got a run out of one into 2, took me a bit by suprise, I could not see him and in such a fast corner the spotter thing is way too slow, by the time the spotter said car inside, I was committed to where I was going and Brian had his nose there.

I didn't think I would like a 30 lap race, but I did.
Lets do one more race with the Miata then switch it up to maybe the Legends car, at Laguna...

The race was alot of fun, thanks Jason for putting it together and making it happen!

The pit stop didn't work out too bad for me because I ran the car until it was empty (started sputtering as I was on pit road) which left like 5 laps left to the race, pulled in and only put in 2gal's of fuel. Back out with a nice light car, didn't bother changing tires because they seemed fine and as Paul said the corner 2 spin sucked bacuse I was looking forward to some close racing for the final laps.

Looking forward to the next one!

As far as setups go, we can create our own "baseline" for any car on any track and have everyone run that setup. That was an option in the Host Race Section.

If we want to use the Legends cars on any track except an oval that's exactly what we are going to need to do.
