I may be in, I'm installing the pack now. As soon as I'm set up with the car I'll let you guys know. I may not be able to get on right at 8, that's the time I'm putting my kids to bed, but will be on soon after.

Don't worry Jason B, these guys are slackers. We usually don't get started with real racing until at least 830, or until Jason S puts down a pole time.

Steve's right... once I'm on pole I assume everyone else is happy with their setup and we start the race.

All I can get for a fast time at Autumn Ring reverse is 125.203 is that anywhere near close enough to not be a moving chicane ??

All I can get from the Tsukuba track is a 101.868 !

Hey Jason...good to hear.

BTW...I have a Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel and pedal set and on the box it says for the ps2 and GT 4 but it works great on the PS3 and GT 5...just tried it out. Makes more "noise" then the G 27 but feels good.
Only issue is there appears to be a "loose" connection in the USB wire that will cause it to go into calibration mode if moved about.

I have no use for the wheel so it's FREE to anyone on this forum who wants it.

BTW...anyone have any use for an Xbox 360 wheel and pedal set ?

I've been looking around, while considering buying Forza 4
Is the free wheel compatible with 360? :jump:

How many wheels are there for the xbox...this one is wired.

Looks like this but the pedals are both black.

I know there's a wireless one with no shifter... other than that, I have no idea
Anywho, I'll happily take it off your hands
Coming to NB any time soon? I imagine it'll be a few weeks before I'm in NS next

To those who want to participate but don't have the DLC yet...

The Mazda Roadster RS (NC) 07 with all the "toys" installed is just as quick as the TC model...in my opinion and maybe more "fun" to drive fast!!

I played around last night, and with grip set to "real", I could not do much better. My best was a low 125 on Autumn Ring Reverse and low 101 on Tsukuba.

Last night I was switching between the '11 TC and '07 RS, and on both tracks I got slightly faster lap times in the '07. It's more of a handful, but was faster for me. So now I'm torn between which one to use. :?

Scott its "easier" to put down consistent times in the TC and less of a chance to spin out after 10 laps of hard racing with "those other guys" !! :P

Jason...how do we get to the Mt Eunos (custom track) for a little track time to do set up ??

.

Actually, in order to achieve '07 lap times in the TC, I've had to go with an overly aggressive setup which made it loose a lot of its stability. So it's pretty much a wash.

Kevin, I have it "shared" right now so if you goto my profile and select "shared tracks" I believe you can download it.
