Just wanted to ask everyone, when you show up Sat at AMP for the event, can we all Park along pit-wall side of the paddock until we reach the tech building. Then once that side is full, start from the upper end of the paddock and work your way down on the gravel side. While we have the track rented for the day, The racers will want to practice sat evening, and we are all there to have the same fun. I also made a post in the RACER forum, letting them know we will be there Saturday, and we will not be asking people to move there cars or stuff for them to park there trailers. Some trailers will be there first thing in the AM, or wait till we are finished. I highly doubt we will have any issues anyway.

If you have friends or family coming, we will ask they park along the front straight wall or up in front of the washrooms. We are very busy during the event, and i would like to keep the competing cars and the spectators cars separate.

Ill try and get this posted on facebook as well.

I'll do my best to remember but maybe you can throw some cones up where the race trailers will be. inevitably 80% of people won't see this message!

Great event again. Some hiccups at the beginning, but recovered quickly. Thanks to all the organizers, timing and scoring!

Here's my fourth run on what was a very fast course.

The boys had a great time. Nice flowing course and a chance to use 3rd gear. Ran very smoothly for having that many cars to handle.

Did anyone catch the name of the guy in the yellow Miata? He came over to help find the squeak we had and I thought he was another competitor, but before had chance to talk to him saw him drive off. The boys did talk to him briefly and seems he just bought the Miata and came out to see where the track was.

We hope everyone enjoyed the course - there was a conscious effort to make it not a cone fest like last year. Didn't stop me from hitting one every run though

Here's my 4th run:

Also, I am glad to be done with these tires.

Looks like you took care of sweeping the track of debris before the event...!

Thanks to the all the organizers and timing folks. Also two thumbs up on the track design, probably the most fun I've had on four wheels.

I think somebody mistakenly added a couple cones to my last run.

LOL, mine too!

I agree with Ryan, this was the most fun I've had in a while. Great design!

Wait! you didn't know Timing and Scoring accepted bribes???

Just for fun I recalculated the results as if nobody had hit any cones, as it was a fairly cone laden course. Although it was nothing like last year!

Top 15 (Because nobody moved in or out of that group)

1. Steve P 81.558 (+3)
2. Dustin C 81.605 (-1)
3. Ben E 82.540 (-1)
4. Brian P 82.616 (+1)
5. Greg S 82.993 (-2)
6. Taylor M 84.728 (+1)
7. Devon T 85.082 (+2)
8. Andrew S 85.439 (-2)
9. Trevor G 85.496 (+1)
10. Scott Mo 85.655 (+1)
11. Joel N 85.682 (-3)
12. Dave H 86.549 (+1)
13. Marc V 86.580 (+1)
14. Vince W 86.794 (-2)
15. CJ V 86.894 (N/C)

Third place while at work! not a bad result, Ben Brown!

It's cool to see the result change, but I don't think i believe in in too much, at least for my run. The final leaner between turns 10 and 11 could be hit (and i did) and you could save a lot of time (and i did).

Lol fixed!

As for the offset cone between 10 and 11, I beg to differ. I believe that in your case it's true, but with my narrow hatchback, I only had to give a very quick lift, then mash the throttle again. Quite certain I didn't hit it all day.

I think that where Andrew went off, you were way more likely to "save" time, by taking out the last cone of the decreasing slalom.

I really need to get on board with video recording/data logging with Harry's or something to that effect.

It's worth it, and I haven't even boughten anything yet (maybe next season if santa is nice to me). Matt S lent me his iphone + GPS to run harrys for a day at Digby, and it was incredibly useful. Where I though i was faster and where I actually was faster were hilariously different. It would have been really helpful at nationals this year, where overdriving was likely a big problem of mine compared to local courses.
