Definitely driving, it's always going to be cheaper and you still need to get there somehow if you ship a car. Just seems like a bunch of hassle for no benefit.

For me it is not a concern of breaking things (although we all know what I've done before) but rather the time.

Unlike many people, I do not get paid vacation days, nor do I work in a salaried position. If I were to ship the car for a reasonable rate, that's two more regular work days (Thursday and Monday) that I do not miss. (It also helps to complete demanding summer project deadlines) With flights currently around $250 round trip, that's roughly what the 5-6 tanks of fuel in a small economical car would cost. It seems like I could easily come out on the plus side if I were to ship.

In the case of those running a car with a warranty (Myself) it is 3000 km less counted towards the day where repairs begin to cost a fortune.

It also doesn't help matters that I'm supposed to be returning to Montreal the following weekend.

Fair enough. Add up our travel costs, forgone wages etc and it's up there.

They had the last event there over the weekend before the big one

I've watched a few vids of courses they've built there, they look fun. VERY simple, low on cones, lots of room to actually pick lines and link elements together. Good mix of transitions, sweepers, slaloms and a few slow digs.

And that smooth, smooth pavement. That is going to be interesting for car setup.

I'm staying at the Days Inn as well. I'm def leaning towards getting as far away from Mtl as possible Sunday night. My heart wants to make Edmundston, but my eyes prob won't last that long.

I'm at the Days Inn... planning to depart ASAP after the event Sunday night and head east. Lots of hotels in Levis. I'm booking one that has a swimming hole.

... Four Points Sheraton Convention Centre in Levis has a pre-paid raise of $122.

Days Inn for most of the ASCC people I think. I'm staying from thursday to monday. Planning to hit up Perry Auto at some point (I may skip most of the friday T&T), I need to buy race gear and I think we'll be picking up 8 tires for chump as well.

They let you do that, Ming? i tried that and the nice lady told me that was an error and i shouldn't have been able to check that. I had to pay up

I thought about doing that, but I hate carrying cash so I just paid the entry fee.

I'm registed, but the late fee still applies.

"IMPORTANT!!! If you see an amount due above, it must be paid in full by June 30, 2016. Otherwise an additional late fee of $50 will be added when paying at the door."
