Aaaaaannd apparently I'm out. Parts didn't show up when they were supposed to, so the car will still be in the shop this weekend.
WTF Justin!!! Ford is F***ing screwing with you man. It's just a set of brakes. How much longer does the simplest part in the car take to fix?!

Yeah. In many states you could have lemon lawed that car by now. Not here tho. And CAMVAP probably won't help.
First off it's *Dustin* but I don't care much. Call me anything you want, just not late for dinner.
As for the car.....
It has to due with the fact that I purchased the Ford Maintenance Plan (FMPP). Which means, only Ford parts go on the car (as far as they know)
For the brake pads we were waiting for them to be manufactured. If you can believe these numbers, Ford has sold close to 10000 Fiesta ST s in North America in the past year and a half, yet only produce and sell 200 sets of brake pads per quarter. That doesn't add up to me.
What baffles me further, is that the Ford Motor Company is willing to pay for a rental car for OVER 6 WEEKS, but won't cover the cost of $90 aftermarket brake pads or honor a warranty if they are installed.
Regardless, the last bit of everything finally came in today, so I will be back behind the wheel of my mini rocket ship by Monday

I'm looking at going after Ford to have my extended warranty and FMPP refunded. When I pay for service out of pocket, I'm treated like royalty, once I'm trapped in the FMPP, a simple oil change will take 6.5 hours.
