You would be correct, fixed now. ~~It's hard to track people who have the same Firstname/Last initial. I need to add some code to use the firstname/Full lastname then trim the lastname for posting.~~

I've now updated my code to use full names and strip the lastname for posting. Some names may show up twice in the results, but it's because the name was unique. If you're not sure which is yours just send me a PM.

Nice work. I started to write a macro for this and gave up after getting too lazy to think about having it searching for a name and calculating that way. You did all the hard work, and always seem to post before i'd have a chance to look at it myself! thanks!

I believe my score for Event #4 (Digby on Sunday) is wrong and that it should be 100. Matt S finished first that day but he is not an ASCC member to the best of my knowledge.

Although, I assume that would bump up everyone else's points for that day by the same amount.... This new system is going to take a while to get used to.

I wish! But I haven't driven a prepared car.. Drove the Fiesta for both days in Digby (events 3&4)

But man I still don't get this points system... Dave Hull and I both drove a "Street" car at every event, and in the "Overall" standings, I'm ahead of him by about six points, yet in "Street" he is ahead of me by a point...? :aeh:

Overall = (Best PAX Time/Your PAX Time) x 100

Class/Grouping = (Best PAX Time in Class Group / Your PAX Time) x 100

I'm not sure exactly why it can do that, but I doublechecked those specific results by hand.

There's also something I never anticipated in regards to dropped events that I'm waiting for a response from the solo committee on. So the class grouping results may not be 100% accurate right now.

I though about this a bit to wrap my head around it to. It really comes from the fact that you can drop your worst event. The way it's calculated in Scott's list, Dave always drops event #4, since he didn't show. However, Dustin, you drop event #5 for the "Overall' championship calculation, and you drop #6 for the 'Street' championship. This makes a big difference, since the amount of points you're given changes depending on how far away were from the overall PAX winner. The points difference (Street vs overall) is pretty small for events 1-4 and 7. Having Dave win the 'Street' class both events that you had no FiST for is really what did the damage in this case.

The question is, can we drop different events for our respective class and the overall championship?

I can't think of a good reason why we wouldn't drop the lowest score in the calculation, even if those end up being different dates, but let's see what the official word is.
