Does anybody want to purchase one some NBSCC 50th anniversary tee-shirts at Digby for $20 each? (I know a hard sell with the great deal at Digby ...so I'll be the guy standing near the food table waiting for people to get mustard on their new shirts )

Update on Sat dinner.

It will be held at the Captains Cabin. They have a spot that can hold up to 70 of us.
There will be 6 meals offered.
1- Seafood Lasagne with Tossed Salad $14.99
2- Roasted Turkey, Served with fried or mashed potato $12.99
3- Haddock, Served with fried or mashed potato $13.99
4- Fish and Chips $10.99
5- Scallop Dinner $17.99
6- BBQ Chicken, Served with fried or mashed potato $12.99
They have adjusted the price down on the food for us. It will speed things up if you have a idea on what you want before we get there.
We have set the time for 6 Pm to get to captains cabin (pending on how the event goes) start with a drink till everyones there, Then around 6:30 orders will be taken.

It should be a pretty good time.

----We are going to try and get going a bit earlier sat if we can. Start time shows 12:00PM. I would like to get the event running at or around 11:30. with the entrants still climbing, I dont want to push us back to far for supper. Going to also try and have lunch around 1:30.

looks like the supp's already say 11:30 saturday, 10:30 sunday. Also, weather is looking good so far. fingers crossed it gets extra hot/dry at the venue!

through the grape vine, I've heard that with the event being on an airfeild, that in the past years, there's been a High speed run down the airstrip.

can anyone confirm, deny this? And if so, which day it would be on?

Not sure who told you that but no. We have never done high speed runs on the runways. I have been going for 7 years or so.

Possibly a mixup, although some random person (another S2000 ) mentioned the same thing to me when i told them to go to digby this weekend. Pretty sure digby would be the worst venue for that anyways. there was a HPDS on Slemon's air strip last year while we were autocrossing on the adjacent concrete pad. I don't think they were doing high speed runs though.

We could do a Saturday evening "Drag Race". Maybe they got it mixed up with Greenfield
