I am booking off days for the Time Attack Series this summer and would like to confirm dates I don't always trust the ARMS event Calender and I see no separate post for date info.

June 20
July 18
Aug 22
Sept 4,5,6 Nationals (also count toward Regional series?)
Sept 12

Is the regional Series 6 events or 4? (i.e. does CNTAC count in Regional points?)
Are these dates all confirmed?
Has the format been decided for CNTAC and Regional Series? (Time attack with passing vs without passing, the logistics etc). There was some discussion on this last fall.

It hasn't been decided yet, if CTAC will count towards regionals or not.

The sup-regs have been drafted and revised and will soon be available on the website; nationaltimeattack.ca

and yes, there will be passing in 2 designated areas.

So does this mean that it's TAWP all throughout the weekend?
And any word on the sup regs for the first Time Attack on June 20th?

To add a bit to Lucs comments, the TA championship was 2 events a day, 1 TAWoP, 1 TAWP combining the points for the championship. One entry fee, two events. The idea was to get people comfortable with the TAWP. I can't remember any major issues, but I kind of like the non passing one too.
Anyway, 2 more weeks!

I have no idea as to how things will be run on the 20th, although in regards to the CTAC, Brian, you are right. It will be run (presumably the same as last year) without passing in the morning, and with passing in the afternoon.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but it's 95% likely that CTAC WILL count towards regionals

With all events being ARMS events, and organized by ARMS, I think it makes sense, but another question for the CTAC, given the WoP in the morning, and WP in the afternoon, both days, will this be scored as 2 individual events eash day, so 4 in total, or best lap for each day, 2 events? Not to be answered right away, just food for thought. Something to discuss at the next meeting, which btw, when/where is it, and can non-committee members attend?

The CTAC will count towards the ARMS Regional series.

As with last year the TAWOP and TAWP will be scored each day as two individual events.

Brian, we hold the meetings via Skype and typically only committee members attend.
Would you like to be on the committee.... I can definitely task you with something if you're available. :)
