Great idea with the full weekend on September 19th and 20th. That will save us Scotioners a lot of driving and make for a fun weekend.

Geary, never heard of that place!

I'm sure you guys are aware, but the calendar seems a bit misleading. ARMS regional #1 appears to be at the church May 9, 2015.

Geary is the racetrack near Oromocto.

Geary is the one where they have banked turns and go off jumps and drive on dirt, right?

I think he means dates, not 'locations' Current ascc dates are on calendar at ASCC.ca

Come on Greg, we all know you like driving the s2000 in the dirt more than going over jumps :orglaugh: :orglaugh: :orglaugh: :orglaugh: :orglaugh:

Also, Speedway 660 appears to have a few less walls and obstacles then SSW.

I agree, just wish they were the other way around, to make it a shorter commute home. Oh well, should still be fun.

Video from Geary 2 years ago. Lots of fun, they use the infield as well.

Makes me anxious for summer looking at these pictures/videos :(

We at NBSCC are starting to wonder if the snow at Long Wharf will be gone by our Regional event in May? (...and yes that means that our UNB lot didn't work out as of two nights ago)
Image
Taken today. Funny how we are not allowed to dump snow in the river but we can store it right next to the riverbank where it will all go when it melts...

Image
Compare the snow height to the (probably 10' high) chain link fence 8O

I can't remember, but are all 8 events counted or are we dropping any?

Are you gonna need us all there the week before to spread it out to melt, or is it Plan B: Rallycross :P

Years ago we asked what we could do to make our Pennfield track events better and Pidge stood up and asked if we could add some hills (it's a flat airstrip).

So we've listened and think that a Hillclimb at long wharf might be the answer instead, we could even incorporate the afore mentioned jumps (with the dozers they have on top of this mountain) X-games style. Just bring your snow tires instead of gravel tires
