Anyone watch the battle in STX yesterday? It was less than a tenth between 1st and 3rd. Biggest surprise was that 300zx finishing 3rd on the first day. Should be an exciting finish!

For anyone at work, http://sololive.scca.com/ has almost realtime results updating. Just select a class (when they are running) and it will continually update. There are also livestreams for east/west.

Bryan is running a school in STX with the zx. Even if he doesn't win it that is still ridiculously impressive. I'd say a lot of e36 STX builds will be for sale soon.

It's neat to scroll through the entry list. Some of the classes are really diverse. Like CSP and CSP-L.
I hope the guys who came down to Slemon do well.

Anybody at the US Nat's that was at the Canadian Nat's (Slemon) so that we can do some interpolation of run times to get an idea where we would be at if we took the big trip down south?

Thanks
Stacy

I think Murray Peterson my co-driver from Slemon was going. Maybe it was someplace else he was going to. He's in a B-stock S2000.

Mike and his subie are running SM. Val (yellow M3), Jo, and Dina driving Dina's S2000 in BS. Carl W. & Bruno L in a 911 GT3 in SSM. Ryan McD in a DSP 328is.

Those were the only ones I noticed.

Paging Mr McIntyre, paging Mr McIntyre...

Your presence in compiling one of fancy dancy average interpolated mean, median, and mode statistic thingys is required for the above competitors (in same cars they had in Slemon) vs. ARMS members

Thanks
Stacy

WRX took it...by less than a tenth. I'm surprised how close the competition was between pony cars and the boost buggy.

anyone else notice the name behind the 300zx?

He races a 370z for Doran racing in the Tudor championship.
And also won the Nissan GT Academy.

This is the first season that Brian has had the 300ZX out and by the looks of it he has a bit of time invested in the car not to mention that he works for Nissan and is a very accomplished Race car driver. That blue 300ZX would look kinda funny surrounded by all those BRZ's and FRS's !!

Boost Buggy is now my new favorite term for a WRX!

You can sit behind a keyboard and try to analyze the data, times, and interpret how you might do, or you can get off your butt and go to the big show. It's an incredible trip and has very little to do with the 6 autocross runs you get.

It's the same time, same place, every year. Ontario and Quebec will be represented next year, the year after that, the year after that, and the year after that too. When will the Maritimes show up to join the fun?

I can see me trying for 2016. Next year is out, but '16 is wide open.
Anybody here have a multi car trailer?

If we had the money and time we would be there. So many of us here participate in the other racing weather its driving or competing. Just runs weekend in and weekend out. But we will be there soon. 2016 for me will be canadian nats.

We need to find a way to get 2 or 4 of us in the same car, then share the expenses. We each buy 1 tire. lol. Do both nationals in one year!

Missing a week of work, 7000km roundtrip + accommodation and expenses just isn't going to happen for me. I would absolutely kill to do it but I don't see it ever happening in my own car...I would likely only do it if I could fly down and pay for a codrive.

I'm with Joel. When nationals comes back to this side of the country I will be there. I also plan to make it out to Loring in 2015.

There are a few of us that travel. Ray, Shawn and I were at the SCCA Match Tour Event at Devens this year. We've been talking about doing a trip to the SCCA Nationals.

This year the Ontario/Quebec contingent got together the Saturday night before leaving for Lincoln for BBQ, drinks and poker. We had 8 paddock spaces together (and 3 more across the other side of the row) including a 20x30 canopy rented from the hosts. We hosted a beer exchange night with dozens of our American friends which was wildly successful (five full huge coolers and that wasn't enough space). We had an enclosed trailer to lock up our stuff at nights. We had a BBQ, deep fryer (and made poutine one night). We had a swimming pool, and a Canadian flag flying on a 30' flagpole (easily the highest in the paddock). Plenty of bicycles and two golf carts so we could get around the giant facility. We had a small bus with A/C so powerful it could be used as a fridge, which doubled as transport to/from the venue to the hotels, restaurants etc. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. It was all bigger and better than last year, and we'll do it even biggerer and betterer next year.

You are all welcome to join us any year you can make it. Plans usually get rolling in the spring time on the CASC forum, so don't hesitate to join in on the discussion if you want to make the trip.

Arranging a codrive and flying either to Toronto (to go with you guys) or wherever there is an airport near Lincoln would make it a lot more feasible for most of us.
Seriously, where do you fly in near there? Expedia is giving me nothing at any city within 200 miles.

I might have to start doing some planning.
