This will be done picnic / tailgate / race-trailer style. Bring a chair and join in a great social event.

Outside in the paddock area I believe.

Remember every extra 10lbs = 1HP 8)

Hmmm, I little extra weight probably won't make a difference for rusty 'ol me as I haven't competed in a lot bigger than a postage stamp since last year at this time (...and now with a totally reconfigured untested/untuned car).

Hopefully that iRacing seat time will help

Does anyone know of a good local mechanic on the island? We will be on the island tomorrow. My brother in law needs a front wheel bearing changed on his 09 mazda3. It requires being pressed out, so I can't do it at our camp ground in Cavendish. I also need to find the bearing.

I like going to CH Automotive. They are along the waterfront @ 397 Water St. They sponsor a stock car and I used to play hockey with the owner when I lived in Summerside.

Note to self: Bring sandbags for Friday :D

Kind of a long-shot here, but does anyone possibly have room for an out-of-town co-driver in their car? We've got a local who will be a last-minute decision (Tuesday) whether he can make the trip out or not, but if he can it won't be in his car. He's got a few years under his belt in lightly-prepped FWD cars but will drive almost anything.

If you're willing to offer up a seat (for a fee of course) please let me know and I can put the two of you in touch.

Thanks!

Ryan

Were you able to find Carl?

Oh, and looking through the registration list it appears the numbers have gone down since Friday.
But still a good number. Tonight is the last chance. Go for it!

Are there fewer? I thought it was still 87. I think there were some names duplicated before.

Organizers, can you let us know when the list is final/official?

Still 86 as of now and of those 86 atleast one I don't think will make it. But maybe he's trying to sike out the rest of us. And switch names to someone else who can drive. :P

I am 100% in for a dirt section!!!!!!!!!! Scott wont scratch his fancy shiny car. Myself on the other hand...
The numbers are low from 2008, but we dont have hugh numbers down here and since a few Americans have stopped coming it knocked another 4-5 off the list. Lee, Mel and Matt should be here. We miss lucy and that 300HP miata.

Hopefully I will get to meet as many of you guys as possible friday night, and over the weekend. While we might be there to win, most of us locals are more less there just for a good time.

Agreed! We are a pretty easy going bunch, but can be quite competitive!
