I remember that car, Ming. It made all kinds of cool turbo-y sounds  .

Will have to take some time to meet you at Slemon this year if you aren't too busy. Feel free to place orders for any of our nifty Ontario goods that you can't get out there ;)

Out of curiosity, is it possible to list the registered tire choice on the entry list page? We're considering entering on Toyos for the contingency and would like to know who we'd be up against!.

Updated! Entry list now shows tire info.

Got the EVO back from the shop on the weekend. Just doing some more work on it in the garage then hopefully get a few events in before Slemon.

Ming, thank you!

Brian, we will have two people and their personal items, and possibly 4 wheels and tires in a BRZ. The amount of fuel we could bring you would probably be measured in water bottles, not drums :D

The past couple times (with many days in between) I've tried to view the MMSC and/or CAC web sites, I always get the following:

Anyone else having this problem?

I can't seem to get the Toyo Contingency site to come up either. :?

Also, did someone mention Lobster for this event? Friday night like last time maybe? Mike? :D

Nevermind, it finally worked. And, I already am a member, so I need not apply for anything special for this event?? Also, I see on there the RR's are an acceptable tire. Is this correct?

I've got the same questions as Brian. I am a member of Team Toyo and so is my co-driver, is that all we need to do to be eligible for the contingency? If there are forms to fill out or decals to run we'd like to know sooner rather than later.

I believe you must be a member of Team Toyo and the tires you are using must have Canada stamped on them or proof of purchase from a Canadian distributor. Everyone who enters will be required to display Toyo Decals provided on site.

Thanks for the info Dave. We'll be sure to bring the correct info on-site.

Any idea where the decals have to be placed?

I still see lots of local people not registered yet, should be a pretty good turnout.

If I may make a suggestion about the Toyo contingency, our sanctioning body in Ontario (CASC-OR) published a very helpful document at the start of the season that outlined the all the details for our Toyo contingency. If something similar could be made available for this event as well it would be very helpful.

http://www.casc.on.ca/sites/default/fil ... form_0.pdf

Thanks!
Ryan

So I tried reading the Toyo Tire contingency deal again. One place reads Toyo RR's are in the contingency program, and another spot says that they aren't. Can someone confirm either way for me?

Also, is there any plans for Friday evening? Last time with Lobster and the big spread of food was awesome.

I just registered yesterday. My procrastinating self forgot that early registration ended on the 4th . To my count I believe I was #66 on the list. It's going to be a fun one.

hey everyone

I'm part of the bunch coming in from Ontario (and bringing in a full c-stock class with us!)

I'm a bit worried that only 67 people are registered so far, given that there are no "walk-ins", in your experience is there a greater influx of registrations closer to the deadline?

time to shake things up... wouldn't want to make things easy for us :P (friendly banter)

There's usually a flood of entries around the early registration deadline. I have some paper entry forms I need to pick up and enter into the system. I know a few others that have said they are attending, but haven't registered yet.

How does the test and tune work on Friday? Do we need to pre-register for a slot, or do we just buy some tickets on the spot?

When you'll register, I'll give you 4 poker chips, hand one over to the starter before your run. When you'll have none left you'll relieve someone thats out working the course.

But, can he register for the Test and Tune on site or does it have to be done online before a certain date?
