No, just show up and register. If anyone would like to prepay you may send payment to paypal@ascc.ca and list the details of the event and car in the comments, then bring the confirmation email with you to the event.

Rain rain rain. We are currently watching the weather. If it keeps raining we may cancel tonight's event. We will make a final dission around 2PM.

We normally run in the rain but scotia speed world becomes extra slick in the rain.
So spread the word to everyone and check back here around 2Pm

Rallycross? I'll be watching. Will sent tweet/email if we cancel.

Edit: does it need to be dry? or just not raining?

All this rain after I drove to work on the 888's so I could get to the event and set up quicker  I even found out I have to use boards to get out of my driveway if attempting to do so on the small race tires. Here's hoping it lets up soon... Damn Weather Network :pcsmash:

It looks like it's going to let up/pass by by 4pm according to radar, but still have random <1mm spots during the evening.

Sorry guys, but at the current time we don't see the rain stopping till later tonight. While it may let up sooner the risk is very high at Scotia Speed world. The track becomes crazy slick when its wet.

The event has been rescheduled for July 23.

If everyone can spread the word about tonight that would be great. And sorry again to everyone who planned ahead for the event.

I have been wanting to try the tires out at a wet slalom but like Joel said, Scotia isn't the place for that with a slick track and walls. Likely a good decision to postpone, unfortunately. I'll see everyone in Digby.

Yeah, I rushed to do the fuel filter and plugs Monday night. I'm still leaving work early today though  This is the safer decision. It's still raining pretty hard here in Mahone Bay.

Digby it is! See you all there. :)

I'm sure the clouds will conspire to give us a damp day to run at a more acceptable venue before the end of the year anyway.

Those of you who paid via paypal, you may save/print your confirmation email and bring it with you to the next ASCC event (Digby) or send me or Brian J. (Treasurer) a message asking for a refund.

Can the title/header of this topic be edited to remove the "****Canceled***(" (sic) and add the new date (July 23)?
