With 40 entrants you can copy and paste each person's first name and class into a BB message in about 3 minutes :P

I'm hearing words like "changes to the extraction algorithm" and "embedded registration response spreadsheet" so I'm leaving it up to the experts :pcsmash:

Meanwhile Mike and Trevor check your PM's

Thanks

Edit- Found a better way
The duplicates are because some people are pre-registered for multiple events
Ignore those

...and that this list is also days old, and way out of date already, and doesn't automatically update making people like Matt think their not registered

But you did it manually before the pre-registration, and it wasn't entered into our database until recently

Don't worry you still get your extra cash draw ballots per the Private Message I sent you...

Thanks

The day just cleared for me, so I'll see you there! I just pre-registered - will it take, or was I too late?

Pre-registration is still open!
http://www.nbscc.org/p/autoslalom.html

David, I just checked and your our 45th entry now :beerchug:

I will announce here when pre-registration closes (Because I know we said it somewhere, but I just can't figure out where yet... Ultimately it will be up to our timing and scoring folk when to draw a line so that they can input the info).
Still show up pre-registered or not! This is only to help speed up the registration process, not to stop it all together when it's closed.

Pre-registrations can be viewed here: http://www.nbscc.org/p/registrations.html

This page should automatically update when new registrations are added, but there is a lag. Sometimes over 30 minutes. And for some reason the formatting on a few of them are wonky, I don't know why.

Pre-registration will close tomorrow afternoon (Friday, May 30th) around 4:00pm or 5:00pm. Once I close registration, I will post here. So if you haven't yet registered and are planning on it, do so soon. Also t-shirts are selling quickly. Some sizes are down to just 1 or 2 left, so reserve yours now!!

Is the event site fenced off? Is it possible for those of us coming up Saturday to leave our car/trailer there overnight?

50 pre-registered Entries! :super:

Thankyou! Steve for this Extraction Algorithm Based Embedded Registration Response Spreadsheet

Hey Macintyre, where's your name?

Quote:

Dave/Scott/Ben: We have a work party at site Saturday until probably mid-afternoon. It's a locked compound and we don't know what the arrangements are for access just yet except that ...yes, you can leave your car there but it would be in-accessible until morning. There is a fence and a guard that comes by every few hours, but it is very out in the open for everybody to see.

BTW with this many entries I will probably take myself out of competition (So I guess that means 49 now...) to keep try and things running well and on time :director:
This means that I will be setting up a nice smooth flowing course by driving it before hand in different types of cars :spydercross:
So if anybody sees me on course Saturday, don't protest me, K?

Stacy

No no no... Minimum 15' gates as per the regulations. :glasses:

    ASN Canada Autoslalom Regulation wrote:
    3.3.7. Minimum Dimensions

Minimum gate width should be no less than four point six (4.6) meters wide as measured between the pylon bases. Minimum distance between cones in a linear slalom should be fourteen (14) meters as measured between the pylon bases. Minimum turn radius should be no less than ten (10) meters and the radius of one turn should not overlap the next turn.

Seriously though, a course designed to conform to the Minimum Dimensions outline in the regulations makes for a very nice flowing course. I know this from experience with walking a course with a measuring tape.

Ba'h ...NBSCC doesn't believe in gates

75% of the time a single cone and a pointer will have the same racing line, but be much easier to pick out at speed!

Remember this event is for trying to attract new blood to our sport here in Saint John. There will be nice bright white flour lines (if the seagulls don't eat it overnight) and a course that is easy to follow.
However it will also allow for faster to guys to shine if they can figure out the right line (which will probably be nowhere near a pylon)

Thanks
Stacy

Two... But because of the numbers it's looking like all 4 runs at once for each group as it's like herding dyslexic sheep to get people to change places for worker assignments

Thanks

Will you be supplying water for participants or should we all bring our own?

Our fantastic sponsor Culligan Man is providing us with a water cooler with (3) big bottles and two sleeves of cups that will be provided free of charge.
We just ask that people drink up around the table and then use the provided garbage can rather than taking it away if possible.

And for those who's runs aren't going well we have something better than a snickers bar ...Java Moose is supplying free Coffee, yay!

Thanks
Stacy

Replacing a boost solenoid on a mazdaspeed3 might be the best example of bad engineering I have seen, all due to a screw placed upside down. Way to go Mazda!
Hey, at least it's done. See you all Sunday!

ALSOOOO: If anyone coming from Halifax/PEI/anywhere does not yet have a room, I have two spare. The two I thought were coming down are no longer able to make it, so just PM me if you are in a jam. Tons of space, so no issue.
