 Post subject: Class/Newbie Questions
PostPosted: Mon May 05, 2014 3:08 pm
Hey guys, really enjoyed my first autocross out here with ASCC, was wondering if anyone could confirm that my completely stock 2011 BMW 323I is classed as "FS" and was wondering how the car number is decided, what can I put on the car?

Any other advice for the next event is always appreciated, me and Joe (Blue Lancer) will be back!

FS includes -
Quote:
BMW
128i, 135i, & 135is (2008-13)
323i & 328i (E46) (1999)
3 Series (6-cyl, including M3;
E46, E90, E91, E92, E93)
(2000-13)

Sounds like it includes you

You can have whatever number you want, as long as there is no other person in your class (FS) with the same number

I was a little surprised to see that a 323 and an M3 would be classed together.

That makes two of us! Oh well, just more of a challenge, great videos by the way! Nice to see my mistakes!

I'd say you were the distinct underdog in "FS" on Saturday. You were running pretty clean to turn those times in a 323, in my opinion. I was hoping to chat with you a bit there, but had some other folks in tow that needed my attention. Hopefully I'll catch you next time out.
