See you guys on Saturday for the test and tune portion. I'll try to show up early to help at a station.

If it rains you get wet.

If it rains, it's more fun.

Just a quick stop at Steve Phillips shop (ISI) on friday and I'll be ready for the T&T.

The only weather that can cancel / postpone an event is:

    1. extreme fog (dangerous as you cannot see the cars or workers on course)
    2. lightening storm (workers make great lightening rods)
    3. extreme wind (can actually blow the cones out of position)

Oh and the rest of you around noon.

Just as a reminder. You will have to work for your runs. LOL. kinda like what MMSC does in PEI, Also if you are done running and want to help out. Take a stand and work there. Makes the day go much smoother not having to switch out course workers.

Do you still need me early? Because it looks like if not I need to do control arm bushings saturday morning, hoping that fixes a problem.

Hi guys, I have a question. I am registered for the school, but I am also part of Dalhousie's Formula SAE team. And we wanted to bring the car out for the test and tune. Another member of the team had been in contact trying to make sure everything was ok to bring the car. We hadn't heard back on a confirmation, and wanted to check. I know there is a section in the Rules for FSAE.
Any help you can give is great. I am looking forward to tomorrow.
Thanks
Keegan

We've run fsae cars before. I can't see it being an issue but I would wait for comment from the organisers.

Just like to thank everyone who came out today. All the help was greatly appreciated. We couldn't do these events without all the help. We learned a lot for the next time we have a T&T or school. I would like to apologize to the people who only made 2 runs. Was hoping everyone would get atleast 4 runs each. The school students all did a great job. Along with the instuctor.

Hope to see everyone there May 10 for the first event.

Just wanted to say my first time was awesome and look forward to coming back. I've got some photos to share once they're all uploaded as well. If anyone can add me to the ASCC forum too that'd be great!

Thanks to all the friendly and helpful people!

My 2002Tii did pretty good for an old girl!

Good fun but I would have killed for more runs. I will try to get to Digby if I can get time off work, as it is closer to home.

Just thought I would let everyone know that everything is looking good. All parts are on the way and should be here wednesday. It was limited to the bumper cover, crash beam and a hellishly expensive Styrofoam insulator. I'll be looking extra hardcore with an unpainted bumper on saturday though :p.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I had a great time regardless. Sorry I scared the students :/ Lesson learned! I essentially tried what Matt did (Blue BRZ) at the Digby Double T&T with a similar result. Flat foot shifting results in the back end kicking out in a Hurry! There just happened to be some curbs and rocks in my way :p

Glad to hear it isn't too serious. I know there were a lot of hearts that sank when that happened, I think everyone watching felt sick for you. Hopefully you get it back in top shape with no major headaches.

Glad the damage wasn't too extreme; it sure looked wild from my vantage point. I was at station 3 when you were heading across to the finish. I sure felt bad for you when I saw it happening.

Glad the car is okay. I can certainly relate.. unfortunately. If it's any conciliation, the run looked great up until that point.

Here is a video from my second run. Testing out my Christmas gift :D Not sure how the wind noise got into that case so i'll have to figure that out for next time.
