Did I tie with Luc for 2nd in overall points? Just curious because Dave's post had us at 122 before amp and then we both placed first in our classes with one other competitor, except I think the guy with the gti was actually running dsp. He was hs but said he changed it to dsp.

Yes, in the results page on Dad's spreadsheet, it says you and Luc were tied. However, it also says that the guy in the GTi was in HS.

We'll let Jason decide the tie breaker.

There's something that should be decided on, if it hasn't already been done... there should be tie breaker criteria that are set in stone and written into the regs somewhere

-Most first place finishes
-Highest attendance
-Highest low-score
-Lowest PAX time at the last event of the season
-etc etc

There should be bunch of them so that no one is ever actually tied once you go through them all

That's why I figured Jason could figure it out

There is something right along the lines of what you posted. I just was busy at the time and had to work tonight. Excuses to pass the buck!

I just looked at the national & regional rules, there is no ruling for a points tie (only for identical times during an event).

So we'll just have a tie in the results.
We can discuss tie breakers in the future at the workshop.

There isn't anything saying most wins, etc? I thought we went through this fiasco a while back, but I guess that was ASCC. Well, "2 seconds" is a penalty :orglaugh:

That was ASCC, not ARMS.

And nobody thought to implement one for region after all that fuss. At least this is for second this time, not overall winner.

The list above will be finalized today at 6pm if there are no other issues noted by then.
