Jurisdiction:The Trout Lake Rally will be held under the General Competition Rules of the Canadian Association of Rallysport (CARS), the current National Rally Regulations of CARS, the current Atlantic Region Motor Sports inc. (ARMS) Rally Regulations, and these Supplementary Rules and Regulations.

Status of the Event:The Trout Lake Rally is round 3 of the BAC – Club level championship.

The Drivers meeting is mandatory. The driver and co-driver of every team competing in the event must be present. Logbooks will not be issued at the event. Competitors wishing to receive an inspection for logbook purposes should arrange this with their local scrutineer prior to the rally.
Description of Event:The Trout Lake event is a single road event. MTC is located in a gravel pit at the end of the stage road. There is a 2.4km transit to the stage section. The stage is 9.1 km. There will be 2 passes in each direction for a total of 36.4km of stage and approx. 10.2km of transit. The event will allow for cars to be shared with 2 teams.
Fuelling - as per CARS regulations:All Service Crews must have at least one fire extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of 40BC or 2-20BC in their respective service area. The fire extinguisher shall be easily accessible and in an area visible to anyone within the teams' respective service spot.
There will be only one refuelling area located at the service area. Refuelling at other locations during the rally shall be deemed to be illegal service and may be penalized according to NRR VII.C. Commercial fuel is not available at the start location. Fuel is
available en route to the start location in the town of Middleton.

Entries:Entries will be accepted until the close of Registration, 11:00, Oct 20, 2013. The maximum number of entries to be accepted will be 8. Entries will be accepted on a first come basis.
NOTE: There will be a $25 administration charge for NSF Cheques.

Seeded Draw:The run order will be announced at the end of the drivers meeting. Seeding will be based on results YTD.
Vehicle Identification:All competitors will be provided with door number panels and windshield banners. Competitors are
required to reserve the areas indicated below for display of event and sponsor materials.
Documentation:1. A.10 Competitors are reminded that they must be members of an ARMS affiliated club in order to enter in BAC performance rally events.
2. A BAC performance rally license is required for this event.
Eligibility:A signed, self declaration must be submitted at registration that declares that the competing vehicle is a) road worthy and b) that the following items are operating properly:
a) Running lights;
b) Horn;
c) Wipers;
d) Reverse light;
e) Brakes;
f) Exhaust.
The scrutineer may choose to verify compliance with any aspect of the Vehicle Self Tech declaration.
Awards:Subject to entry list. Final results will be posted on the notice board on the day of the event.
Recce:A two pass recce will be provided for all competitors to write stage notes. See the schedule for available times. The stage is used in both directions; be cautious of two way recce traffic.
While on the stage roads, the following conditions will be penalized:
- Reversing.
- Exceeding maximum recce speed of 50 kmph (remember this road is open to other traffic).
- Driving without due consideration for other road users.
- Taking additional passes.
- Stopping, except as necessary when meeting traffic.
Competitors guilty of any of the above will be assessed the following penalties:
First offence a FINE (amount at discretion of the organizer) plus a personal meeting with the event organizer and steward to present the reasons why you should be allowed to continue in the event.
Any rally competitors found on the stage roads outside the official recce time within 60 days prior to the event will be deemed to be practicing and as such will be subject to the usual CARS sanctions and will be excluded from the event
Notice to all Production Class competitors: National Rally Regulations NRR II.H.4. (d): It is the entrant’s responsibility to provide manufacturer’s documentation such as sales brochures, workshop manuals, service bulletins, etc., where necessary to substantiate the eligibility of the vehicle and its components.
Any vehicle, which has its eligibility, questioned, and cannot provide documentation as above, may be moved to the appropriate open class.
All officials of the event (including marshals, radio personnel, traffic control, etc.) shall be deemed judges of fact and as such may point out any infraction of the Rally Rules and Regulations to the Organizer.
Organizer prepared books containing route following instructions will be provided to all competitors.
