The seventh event of the ARMS regional autoslalom series will be held on Sunday, September 29th at the Magic Mountain Parking Lot, 2875 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB. The event is organized by MMSC.

Entry fee for the event is $20 per competitor.

I think convoy at Irving in Truro, usual meet time is around 8:30. Might put the M3 streets on the 330 and run STX for fun.

Also, I'm having people over for a BBQ after the event, same as last year. I think last year only MMSC people (and wives) attended, but there was still a good turn-out
Like last year, regular competitors from all regions (and people that know me ) are invited and there should be enough burgers/sausages/pop for everyone
I live 2 or 3 minutes from the event, so it's not a long haul
I'll remind people at the driver's meeting and people can see me for directions if they need them

I think Charles is coming. Curtis co-drove the RX8 last event though not sure if he's coming as well.

Nonono, I have 2 other FR-Ss to run around with, I'm just checking to see if there is a 4th for contingency!

Although by the looks of Charles' times from previous events I'll have my hands full.....

I made it home, but my white sweater didn't. If someone picked that up, could you please bring it to amp, washed and grease stains removed?

People will be making it home late, the event ran until about 8pm (or was that just the way it seemed? )

It was fun and there was about 50 entrants

Fewer people than last year at the BBQ due to the event not really finishing in time for supper but there were still 12-15 people over here

Yeah I bailed out after my last run (6pm) or so. Sorry I didnt stick around to help cleanup and head over to the BBQ but I was pretty over heated and sunburnt. Was not preparred at all for the unusually warm day.

Anybody get pictures of the bear?

It's funny because my daughter was down at the zoo building when somebody come bursting in asking if the zoo lost a bear, as there was one loose! When Sammi Jo tried to leave the staff blocked her way saying that for her own protection she should stay inside. She laughed and told them we had actually seen it a half hour ago up in the waterpark area about 200' away from us (separated somewhat by a fence) while we were walking the course ...and that it was more scared of us than we were of it. Joel seemed a little skittish about it though

Anyway it turned out to be a wild bear and got pretty scarce when the zoo keeper and the game wardens showed up ...funny how nobody went into the woods to "use the facilities" all day though
