Awesome weather, fun course and the event ran smooth. I was however, disappointed to find out that there would be no awards ceremony. In my opinion that is one of the more enticing aspects of Slemon being that it is it's own event aside from the regional series. Hopefully next year will boost the number of entries. All in all a great weekend!

Thank you Scott for letting me use the GoPro and getting the video up there!

Here I am trying to turn my shifter from a 5spd into a sequential shift at the start

Sorry for the video getting cutoff at the end ...the freeware editing software I used limited the length.

It would seem that some drivers are not only quick, but also consistent:

They should call this the "M3-wheeler" or something - every M3 I've ever seen at an auto-X did this! 8)

Harold, every event I go to I see you in the background snapping away (I meant to personally go thank you at AMP this weekend, but you were off in the bushes before I could find you).
Hats off to some amazing shots and dedication to what we do (and also to the MMSC crowd for putting on a great event) :beerchug:

Thanks
Stacy

Speaking of people with artistic gifts, Wow Kevin! 8O

It's funny that this shot of Harold's grabbed me too and I made it my new screen saver as soon as I saw it. The swirling chalk dust behind me as I thundered into a lane change kinda surmised how I felt driving the beast...

Thanks
Stacy

Could have been smoke

...or maybe Harold took the picture after this shot, catching me going off course and stirring up the dust cloud (Ya know, without the chalk I bet nobody would have noticed 8) ):

Some excellent videos, all. And thanks, again, Harold for all the excellent pictures.

Here's a couple of videos from my runs. This run was my fastest raw time on Saturday, but unfortunately two pylons were sacrificed. The second pylon I hit is the one in Harold's picture a few posts back. Sometimes, it seems like the car just wants to reach out and slap one or two of those things. My apologies for the sound quality. Was using a wi-fi back on my GoPro, and the open back for it seems to catch a lot more wind noise and whistles than the standard open back. Interesting camera angle, though.

Here's another video from my best run on Sunday. Better view of the course from this angle.

Again, thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the weather and the pylons. Thanks mostly to the weather gods who were really good to us this year, considering the forecasts earlier in the week!

Graham, a couple of things I see when watching your video, you really seem to get a good feel for the course, I never seem to remember the course that well. Of course I socialize when doing course walks  . Also, wow, what grip you have. Amazing, and the car handles well too. Oh, and unless you completely stopped after the camera stopped then you didn't. 8O
Oh, and the first video was cool, kind of freaky looking backwards but still neat.
