Looking at the weather conditions I would have said the all wheel drive cars should of had an advantage but the times show just the opposite...hmmmm...what happened out there ?

First off - sorry for not attending this event to take pictures BUT I had an excuse !!

Excuse:
I was asked earlier in the day if I would drive my GF to Dartmouth so she could pick up a FEW items at a lingerie shop to which I said sure but I need to be home by 6pm. Just before departing for said shopping adventure another woman was added to the list. Now I was ok with just one but two women in a slinky underwear shop was more then I bargained for. Out in the car I watched the hours go by with no sign of the women but hey I parked beside a Rolls Royce and was trying to study the styling cues from the 80's. 6pm came and went, now I was getting concerned so in I go to find out what was up. After running thru the store and trying to get someone to check the dressing rooms I discovered they were no longer in this store...WTF! Out I went into the parking lot and this is when I became aware of all the SALE signs in the windows of the shops in Dartmouth crossing..."dear god" this will take days to find them.
So I decided to go back to the car and try and figure out how much that Rolls Royce weighed and wait for the shopping bags to come back to their drive home, needless to say it was sometime before they ran out of credit and/or the ability to carry said merchandise.
Note to self...."self if asked to do this again in the future please set fire to all moveable vehicles in your driveway and sever any and all arteries in your left wrist" This should get you a proper excuse for not being able to "drive" the ladies to go shopping for a few hours!!!

I'm sorry I couldn't make this event either, however my excuse is no where near as good as Kevin's.... I was merely working until 9pm.
I called Brian P. at 9, but he said they were almost all packed up.

Kevin, your excuse started off good, but then you used words like parking lot , waited, etc. I figured you'd be taking pictures! Lol

Great time last night. Loved running the go kart (Civic). Might have to keep one of them on hand for a rain car. lol

Thanks to everyone for coming out tonight. And thanks to Devon for the use of his car for my last run. AWESOME car! :D

No problem good sir! Next time I'll be watching more closely so you can show me how to drive it! hahah

Shout out to Mr. Barker who kicked my A$$ this event. He de-crowned me as "king-86" with a car that is 27 years older :/

Thanks to all the volunteers!

I'm currently editing my vids, I'll toss them up later on.

I got him for you though! Don't tell him that it will go to his head!

Seriously though, you two are both doing an outstanding job competing with each other, having fun, making it fun! The little "rivalry" of the "King-86" is a nice touch!

Also, a note that both Gray's were driving other people's cars last night, for the first time for both of them! What a great job by both of them, pushing the owners to drive faster for sure. Trevor may have pushed Joel a half second too far, but that's OK. :orglaugh:

And Mitchell??? Where did that come from?? Nice job! 8)

Thanks to everyone who helped out. It was interesting learning how my car drives in the rain. I almost couldn't believe how fast some of the cars get through those turnarounds, especially the original AE86. M3 felt like a truck.

Looking forward to Digby where I can put some power to use!
