count if hit. Directional pylons placed directly adjacent to a penalty pylon must be obeyed or a DNF
will result. Directional pylons not adjacent to a penalty pylon are for informational purposes only and do not result in a DNF if not followed. If a directional pylon displaces a penalty pylon, the pylon
penalty will be assessed.
∙ A penalty will be assessed for each displaced course entry and exit pylon. The course may be lined on
both sides, weather permitting. Crossing a line incurs no penalty.
∙ All entrants are expected to be responsible for their own garbage. Please clean up before you leave the
site.
∙ A speed limit of 20 Km/h will be enforced at the event site including pregrid and grid. Tire spins,
rapid speed or direction changes, or other "abnormal/unusual" driving techniques are strictly prohibited
throughout the event site other than during competition.
∙ Children and pets are allowed anywhere on the event site EXCEPT during active competition. During
active competition, children under 12 and pets are not allowed in the grid, staging and course areas. Pets
must be leashed at all times.
∙ Drivers are responsible for the actions of their crew and guests. All must sign a waiver to be present in
the pregrid, grid, staging and course areas. Waiver forms will be available at registration.
∙ The wristband, signifying waiver signature, will be worn either on the wrist or attached to the
individuals exterior clothing from the waist up on the front of the body, in plain sight. All personnel
entering the paddock fence gate must sign the event waiver, or display the waiver wristband as
identified above.
∙ Refueling of cars on site may be permitted only when accompanied by an assistant and suitable fire
extinguisher. Clean up any spills.
∙ All incidents involving injury and/or property damage occurring on the event site, or felt associated to
the event will be reported as soon as possible to the Organizers.
∙ Protests and Appeals shall be referred to the event Steward. Protests may be filed with the Steward and
must be accompanied by the appropriate protest fee in cash, or traveler's checks.

Dear god that is going to make for an early morning for me... Has anyone ever fallen asleep at the wheel during an AutoX run? :p

I'm up for a convoy as long as we keep it at reasonable speeds. My car's highway fuel economy stinks with the high gearing.

8:30 in Truro at the Irving, is that the plan?

I won't be in this convoy however they are generally really tame. Dave H usually leads so you know they aren't too fast. 8O

Anyone know of other STX class cars that will be there other than me? I need 3 total for the scion contingency program to apply. I see there was a focus ST at a previous MMSC event...

If you want a co-driver, I will volunteer! I'm not bringing the Mustang, might bring the TL and give it a try.

Shawn should be there in the Focus. I believe Ray is planning on competing in STX this year. I can run the Celica in STX. I'm sure the Moncton drivers will give you a run for your money

For that contingency program, I don't think co-drivers on his car are allowed
That said, we also don't maintain detailed enough records for Scion to know the difference

If you delete your post, I'll delete mine :orglaugh:

That would be a shame. maybe the co-driver not allowed to be the winner? IE put a "ringer" in the seat? I could see that, but even then, Scion wants to win, so that shouldn't even matter. But Devon's girlfriend has started slaloming, does this mean she'll have to drive someone elses car? I don't think so. Don't worry about it anyway if Charles Kelly shows up. 8O

Thanks for the offer Alan but I shot off an email when i first saw this and no co-drivers are permitted. I'd certainly be game for a critique on my runs though. I know I'm new to this and I still have a lot to learn.

Just to clear things up, I did not intend to sound like this was some sort of guaranteed win for me. I just need 3 STX cars for it to be possible. If there were exactly 3 it would be nice as I would be guaranteed to get some funds to cover my gas etc :p. The more the merrier though! If i get beat by a minute then I get to see HOW a similarly classed car can get such a good time :)

It sounds like we're good to go however, so thanks to all who chimed in.

If you like I can make a photo appear to be whatever they like it to be...just saying !

What do you mean you weren't there...I have a picture that says you were and the newly
" refined" results shows a scion as the winner.

Never be afraid to be beaten in a slalom event by some one coming down to our events from
New Brunswick...."Hell, I use to drive 5 hours both ways to be beaten by them on their turf" !! 8O

NOTE; None of what I say or do is condoned or accepted as normal by the Atlantic Region Motor Sports governing body !!! :o 8O :?

But dont expect a $500 winnings this time. I might have racing stripes.

Does that still class me as STX with racing stripes?
