Ahhhh just leave the ball joints out. Save some weight and lash it with some twine!

Also, just to MAKE SURE I have this right... (I showed up at my best friend's wedding a whole day late a few years back)

Saturday the 18th at 6:30PM we are meeting across from the "slalom at the church" for class.
Sunday the 19th we meet at 8AM at AMP.

Someone give me a nod.

Yup. Full brakes on my friends old Escort, and an entire new suspension under my Impreza last week. Tomorrow is brake pads, fluid bleed and rear sway bar for me. Then I have to wire our new Pathfinder to tow the camper to the track on Saturday, and then pack it and tow it.

Busy...

Remaining balance of 150.00 has been sent via paypal. I printed the confirmation page to have Saturday evening.

I've got a motive power bleeder with Subaru cylinder cap if either of you guys want to come by on Saturday and do a flush. I'm probably going to be working on the rally car Saturday anyway.

Just gonna bleed the brakes and hope my expansion tank doesn't explode on the track.

Just a friendly reminder:

Scott...remember this is a "Race" surface and if you believe you may have a cooling issue you should change out your coolant to regular plain water just in case the worst does happen while on the track.

Much easier to clean up. :)

It was a joke. I replaced everything over the winter.

Would apply to every BMW made in the past 20 years

Just replaced my turbo core, and end links in the front end. Looks like everything is tight and ready to go. No more oil being dumped in to the charge pipes now. One more day of shakedown before I exhale.

Yep, I spent Saturday night last year fighting seized brake lines and replacing fittings. Apparently I like working under pressure.

A boost leak developed this afternoon, so I think I have another night in the garage scheduled. Hopefully it's an easy fix.

Great time yesterday - it ended up being a beautiful day (despite the frigid morning)

Cool video of the start too

On behalf of Brian Gay and myself, I would like to thank all of the volunteers who came to the classroom session and the track. We sincerely appreciate your time and dedication.

We had a safe and successful school event, and we hope to see all of you at future track events.

Cheers,

Jay, I think it's all of of students that should be handing out the compliments to the organizers and instructors.

I can't remember this last time I had that much information jammed into my head AND had that much of a blast!

It was a very well organized and operated event.

Well done. I will be back (today in fact) and others too I imagine.

+1 to that.

Thanks to everyone who helped out! I will definitely be attending lapping days and the next Time Attack. It was serious but couldn't have been more fun. All the instructors that I talked to were FANTASTIC as well.

Was anyone else disappointed to find out that we weren't going to be playing tiddlywinks? :p

Cheers.

It was a great day; thanks to Brian, Jay, Dave Hull and everyone else. The Swedish Maytag's transmission was not up to par but I did get a chance to put a few laps in. It was quite an experience, and I loved seeing the multitude and variety of iron that showed up. I'll be back to get that lapping card.

An excellent weekend. My heartfelt thanks to any and everyone who worked to make it all happen. I've been around the track on and off since I was a kid, and this weekend a 40 year old kid fulfilled a dream and drove the track at speed.

I also once again proved the adage of what happens when you loan your car during competition, when my "Team Butt Dyno" co driver Mike M beat me in my own car that he had never driven before during the Time Attack.

I'll be back!
