Sorry Mitchell. You are right. Something got lost in the translation.
Thanks to Charlotte looking over my shoulder and reading from the backup paperwork for the last hour or so, we corrected my mistakes.
The plan is to have a printer hooked up to the original computer so things should be a bit quicker.

There is a question about Mitchell M.'s second run. I will check tomorrow on the computer and the big board to see if he hit a pylon.

Great event, I haven't seen a turnout that big since I started. I was super rusty, gotta get used to my car actually going where I point it

I just wish I had found out which cone I was hitting before I was done. Probably the same one everybody was catching. Oh well. Great time, tons of cars, beautiful day. Can't wait for next weekend. Hope to get some video up tonight. Calculated a PAX adjusted time as well, based on the times from the main page, if anyone is interested.

I wish I knew which one I was hitting too. I hit 2 that I wasn't aware of. Which is odd. I usually know when I hit one, or atleast have an idea if I was close. I am guessing it was on the right side and I likely didn't even see the pylon due to the A pillar/cage? Oh well, I was a second quicker except for the mystery pylon(mystery to me, I believe it, just wished I had known which one). :D Still a fun course though!

The one I was getting was the inside cone on the very last corner before the stop box. Apparently. 43.9 without it, which I'm really pumped about.

That would be interesting to see - post the PAX standings in the thread if you can

Almost every single car in the first group was hitting the inside pylon in the last gate before the stopbox. Ralf and I could call it out before it even happened just by the line someone took in the 2nd-last gate. I think that was a deceptively tight gate.

Hello and thanks to everyone who put this on. I had a blast and so did all the folks i brought with me. Here is a vid of my last run. I see lots of places where I went wrong so I'm excited to make some improvements! One question, on the corner after the straight, I heard a rub I *think*. Does anyone happen to remember this? Joel and Trevor were at station 7 I believe.... I had a quick look but can't seem to find where the tire could have possibly touched. Cheers

That gate wasn't really all that tight, but in general folks were driving too aggressively on entry, in a lot of places. That was not the course to try and get tight on gates, a lot of them snuck up on you if you entered tight or with too much speed. The course tested patience, you really needed to give room and let the car roll through some critical areas.

I liked it, had an old school vibe, long time since we have been in a parking lot! Cool to see a lot of new folks out as well.

Just a suggestion to help out the NEW competitors...put them at the end of each run group
so they can follow the rubber marks laid down by the fast guys...every little bit helps them out.

BTW...there are more photos here...viewtopic.php?f=52&t=12127

Hmmm...just looking at the top competitors times...very close (except for Paul) tight competition.

...according to those times if Kevin Partridge would of had another 500 RPM higher rev limiter on his car
he would of placed second ! 8O

Now that's assuming that the engine would have agreed to the extra 500 rpm limit and not expire.
