Everybody is always looking for a nice fuel efficient small Winter beater...

...and then there is this Rolls Royce Silver Wraith II Silver Seraph with 65K km in Fredericton for $12K:

Just think of the room to store race tires back here:

...and imagine how people will pull over on the track during Lapping to let you go by when they see this big grille filling their mirror:

I would pay money to watch that Rolls roll around a slalom course.

We'd have to allow passengers, to sit in the back with a monacle and some Earl Grey.

I #### you not, but Andrew Comrie-Picard mentioned the other day that he's going to be in the modern take on the Grey Poupon commercials. 8O

But this Bentley for $22k 8O when they normally go for two to three times that? Must come with some swampland too I think...

It's seems to have been listed on http://www.racingjunk.com since Oct though...

I would have thought it would have been vetted out (or bought) by now?

Rebuilt maybe?

Alright this one may not be pretty, nor all that desirable, nor all that dependable...

Image
http://bringatrailer.com/2013/01/20/rare-in-the-usa-1958-deutsch-bonnet-hbr-5/

But I think this car raced at Pennfield in the 1960's as I have a black and white video (done by CBC?) showing a darker coloured SCCA Deutsch-Bonnet competing here that looked an awful lot like this?

...and seeing that this one was at one time from Pennsylvania, ya never know?

Not sure what old Hondas are going for these days ...but here is a 1999 Acura Integra GSR (at least that's what the owner calls it  ) for $3K

Panels look pretty wavy. A Honda of that vintage is going to be pretty rusty/patched up if it hasn't been winter kept.

The Type-R is still holding its value quite well, though its finally starting to drop off. Seen a few in the $8k range where they were holding strong at $12-15 for a while.

Looks like a speedbump would destroy that muffler.

Wow, they are rare up here in Canada because by the time the rules were relaxed to be able to import the Conquest/Starion (because they were on the old exclusion list so they needed to be 15years old to bring them in) they were pretty worn out...

My first car, a Plymouth Fire Arrow also had a 2.6L engine (which btw isn't related to the minivan 2.6 in case you were thinking spare parts) and it was unbreakable ...almost

Nice find!

LFA currently on ebay at $22K with no reserve: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e11021.m45.l1123/7?euid=f549b0af9c2943eea04e80ae0c0ba83c&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.ca%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D111025104654%26ssPageName%3DADME%3AB%3ASS%3ACA%3A1123

(...But I'm sure by the time anybody looks at it here it will be a substantially higher bid though)

ImageImage

One could always bid, then hope that a power outage hits the ebay server farm and you end up with the winning bid

EVO 10 for 14k:

http://novascotia.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi ... Z464556871

Either something is wrong with it or I really don't understand the value of these. I thought they were in line with STI pricing, which is significantly more.

Wow! They ususally do hold their value. It looks modded though. And has some sweet type R floormats
Maybe I should head up to Sydney this weekend.
