With the impending storm, we've decided to re-schedule the Rallycross event to February 17th. Apologies for conflicting with other events in the region. The event will be held at the Magic Mountain parking lot. Pre-registration form is here. The first event was lots of fun, so hope you can make it for this one! Details below:

MMSC Rallycross #2: Sunday, February 17th, 2013

Location: Magic Mountain Parking Lot
Price: $15/entry

Schedule:
8:00am-10:00am Course Setup
9:30am-10:30am Registration
10:45am Driver’s Meeting
11:00am First Car on Course
2:30pm End of Event & Clean-Up

Classes:
Prepared**
All Wheel / 4 Wheel Drive
Front Wheel Drive
Rear Wheel Drive

* “Normal” #13 or #15 studded snow tires are allowed in all classes. No other types of studded tires are allowed with approval by the organizer.

** including (a) Rally and Race prepared vehicles, (b) vehicles with other than OEM (as the vehicle in question came from the factory) drive train (engine, transmission, rear ends, etc…) and or suspension modifications, (c) vehicles that have had parts removed that cause a weight reduction (seats, carpets, headliners, air conditioning, ABS, etc…)

What are the course conditions like normally? Interested in coming up if it won't pelt the car with rocks :P

Moncton is snow over paved. No rocks, just snowbanks.

Mike spend the morning prepping the site. Course looks like a lot of fun. Who's coming?

So did anyone go up to Moncton from NS to compete today? Or did it rain there too?

There was 13 competitors that braved the storm. There was someone from Nova Scotia, new member though.

Sweet, great conditions then. The results posted on the MMSC site I presume? Since I never see them here.

The results will be posted on the MMSC web site. I assume Ray has a bit of work to do to them.

A few of us have been discussing the results. I was surprised to see only one FWD DNF. My feeling is that if the people working the field have to push the car free, they DNF. I am unsure about how things are calculated, but I thought that DNF times did not cross between classes. :?

It was a really fun course to drive. Hoping MMSC does a Rallycross#3.
