Yea I was unsure at first when I first heard about it months ago, but it's no hoax!

Just watched the video below.... besides your standard "Mario Kart-ish" power ups they have ones like:

-Wet Weather power up.... it rains but you are the only one who has wet tires.
-Safety Car power up... I believe it bunches the field back together (useful if you're at the back of the pack)

Teams have different special abilities, from firing weapons backwards, to "re-rolling" for power ups.
All in all it sounds like a really fun couch/family game. It's multiplayer split screen & online!

I'll be picking up my copy in November!

It would be cool if the tracks were all loosely based on the real F1 calendar.

Might be fun to try, but I can't see myself purchasing the game. We already have "Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing" and "ModNation Racers" at home collecting dust.
