I'll be there! Will it be flying mud or ice dancing?

Anybody drive by there?
Wondering if it's going to be a gravel, snow, or ice event?

I'm going to take a spin out there tonight to see what it looks like. We are suppose to get some snow tonight into Saturday, however the weather reports really haven't been consistent. I'll report back tonight unless someone else grabs a look.

Just drove by...looks like some exposed gravel, some ice, some snow and likely some wet/soggy/muddy areas.

Expect everything!

I'll be out that way tomorrow as well and will update you the conditions...if they change...

Well, this batch of sticky snow should add some interesting dimensions for tomorrow. Good snow tires here I come!

I'm not so sure. Unless it comes back I expect what came down will be gone by the first run or two. Of course I haven't seen the lot.

I also might be hopeful because I DON'T have good snow ties. :)

Father winter is always out to disappoint me. One thing is probably for certain, it ie gonna be a messy soup based on what Colin said and the snow from today.

Do I want to torture my AWD.....

Do large heavy components designed to be easily removed put one into prepared when they are set aside?

Today (Saturday) at about 1100, the lot at SSW was quite messy.

The airport area seemed to get about double the amount of snow that the city received, but was already well on it's way to being melted when I arrived.
So...my little Gymkhana run around the lot (including some donuts around the lamp pole) got messy. It was thick, sticky snow on top of slush, which was on top of either mud or sheets of ice. Bumpy and a case of traction, then suddenly no traction, followed by a little bit of traction. It was tough to keep a nice clean circle :)

Gord is right, the snow won't last long and you guys will have the muck dug up in no time. I won't be running, but might stop by for a bit. Enjoy!

My 'best' run from today. Really fun course, Had good flow. Lots of sideways = lots of cones for everyone. :)

Seriously though, the 1 wheel drive automatic was just to much for us all today. Congrats on some great driving.

There is a slight chance that I may have dropped an Envelope with $300 that I can not afford to lose. If someone is looking for the owner it's me :(

Ahh jeez that sucks Scott! I didn't see it around our parking area, but I wasn't really looking for it.

Hi all!

My photos from 19 Feb are up at:

http://users.hfx.eastlink.ca/~hmmerk/Sl ... /index.htm

replacing a set from January. All photos are from the first two runs, although not all cars have photos from both. As usual drivers are grouped in starting order and within each driver's set, they are in chronological order. Also as usual, this set will someday be replaced by another.

Here are some examples:

Note where I'm looking. Ended up sliding right past the gate and didn't even have enough traction to take out the cone on purpose even though I tried. Airport loop time! :)

Thanks as always, Harold!
