Yea something screwed up when Trial Mountain loaded.... I decided to call it a night.

Maybe a few days before I get to the pix, but I'm sure there are going to be some good ones.

Hopefully others (Kevin et al) can nab some good shots too!

These are the pictures I took during last night, most pictures have the Honda Accord because I was driving that car.

Ha ha! That was so much fun. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

As you can see, we were in completely unequal cars, so we didn't do any serious racing. More like an exercise in survival. lol

We had lots of fun though.

AMAZING shots Alek!!!!

I'm still grinning from last nights races, er crashes....

Yea last night was just pure mayhem!! Long over due....
Turned boost on high, turned off tire wear, no damage, no visible damage and just went out and had fun!

Setting the boost on high was really what made last night fun! You could never use it in a serious race, but if you just want to have fun and stay together setting the boost on high works. For example, over a 2 lap race of the Nürburgring the gap from 1st to last was only 10 seconds! 8O

Thanks Alex for the pics and the fun times on the track.

..."oh man"...we have got to do that again !!!!

I had a noise complaint about someone laughing too loud in their apartment...late at night!!! 8O

We did race...just not a "technical" race...more like a make the most of what you got race and to hell with the rules!!

As you can clearly see from the pictures...some drivers built their cars so light that they actually started to float at any real speed...others had 4 wd and they wanted to test it at every chance they could. Some drivers tried to "straighten" the pavement whenever possible and others just used the car/s in front of them as braking points for the next corner.

I can say that I was completely innocent of any of these issues and tried to maintain a professional drivers etiquette whenever possible. My red Ford Focus was as neutral as any car I have driven and displayed poise and stance of a proper race sedan.

There may have been a "Hooligan" in the bunch but as of yet it has not been proven. 8O  :P

...now if I can just figure out how to shut those wipers off !!!!

I had a ball last night, thanks for the invite! My cheeks still hurt from all the smiling and laughing.

I kinda figured that with my little CRX catching up to the field at the Nürburgring boost was on  (...I kept looking for the garage button to go back to my Ruf or Audi TT after realizing that I was limited to 203km/hr on the straights)

GREAT shots!!! I was laughing just as hard looking at the shots as I was when I was racing last night. That was awesome! Should include a night like that in the middle of every tournament, kinda like an intermission. Reminds us that we ARE just playing a game!! Those shuffle races are a blast!
