I don't think damage is a good idea until everyone gets to a certain level, as the crashes are still going to happen! Then all you have is 1-2 guys still running.

I think we should amp it up to a *fast* car for the next one, a race car preferably.

So I saved our first two races, and I just watched them in replay.

In Trevor's defense, both 1st turn incidents on those tracks were not his fault.

In R246 Joel "dive bombed" him and went straight into the wall.
Image

In Grand Valley Paul hooked his right rear on the grass, flew across the track (infront of me) and took him and Trevor into the sand trap.
Image
*Note you can see Joel (orange car) waaaay back there.... because he "jumped" the start and was penalized.

Now the last two races... I'm pretty sure that was Trevor in the Nürburgring and McIntyre at Daytona. hehe

Make sure you specify which Scott. Not saying that it couldn't have been me. But clarification would be nice.

My wheel/pedals shipped last Wednesday out of California. I'm hoping to receive the package any day now.

Sounds like you guys are having fun...

Trevor, yes the replays can be saved (you need to go into "results" right after the race and save it).
Sadly however you can't fast forward or rewind during replays.... yet.

Harrod, sorry my bad... I've corrected the post. It was clearly McIntyre, I saw him beside me... braked early and watch him take at least 2 people out, probably with the help of Trevor.... hehe

Yes I agree, no damage until we can all play nice. I would like to do some testing with it though.

As for the next series after we've completed this one, I was thinking either:

-Corvette ZR1 (C6) '09 RM (~ 600,00cr)
Image

or

-Super GTs (each pick a different Super GT 950,000cr, there's 14 different cars)
Image

Thoughts?

This sounds fantastic! How many is the limit?

I don't have the game yet but it looks like I need it.

There's a limit of 12 people per race.
Right now we only have 10 interested in the series and we've only raced a max of 7 at once.... so there's room.

B-spec grinding is where it's at. Plus you get all kinds of prize cars.

I'm leaning towards the JSGT cars as well.

The Calsonic Skyline would be too old.
I posted the list of JSGT cars above... all are found in the Dealerships for 950,000cr each.

I'm down with the JSGT cars. If we're picking cars I claim the Nissan Calsonic IMPUL GT-R '08.

I laughed out loud here too!

And Joel, Rust Bucket Racing without rust? Come on, can't you take it to the paint shop and AT LEAST put a little primer over the fender wells?
This is tempting, but not gonna happen. Unless someone wants to buy an X-Box 360 with Forza 2 and 3?

I just bought the NISSAN XANAVI NISMO Z '06 & the HONDA RAYBRIG NSX '06. Did 1 lap each of the Highspeed Ring, NSX was faster by 0.2 but the Z was a beast.

Trevor you've got lots of time.
I think we are going to do at least another few evenings with the M3.

Trevor, do the seasonal races. You don't have to spend a lot of money to win a lot.

The '06 cars are supposedly a little faster, the TAKATA NSX being the fastest of them all. Different restrictions.
