But, can he register for the Test and Tune on site or does it have to be done online before a certain date?

You can't register for the event on-site, however you can add the Test & Tune when you check-in.

Thanks for the info -- I will be signing up for the test and tune on Friday. I need some runs to get some feel for a FWD car. I am *sure* that 4 runs will be sufficient :P

See you guys in a few weeks; I am looking forward to this!

So, Dave Hull answered one of my questions this morning at the race drivers meeting. And I will pass it along for everyone else who may be wondering, Lobster on Friday night of Slemon.

Still am wondering about the Toyo RR's though..... :?

Yes, you receive new chips once you've completed your worker shift. You could easily get in a dozen runs if you wanted too.

This may be the greatest answer to a question I didn't ask.

Details?

Anyone that has a mechanical failure at the Test + Tune on Friday is forced to wear a lobster costume for the rest of the evening

Just a note for people wanting to stay at Slemon Hotel - don't bother trying to book online, because it'll say there's nothing available. You have to call, and then they'll give you a room

We are planning a welcome party Friday evening. There will be food and beverages. Waiting on a price on lobsters, but they will be there as well.

GOOD, We will bring some Nove Scotia Beer. (Keiths)

Any chance somebody from out west can bring some Kokanee beer? One of the best beers I have ever had. Nova scotia use to get it from ontario but it was just made by molson or someone. wasnt the same as when we had it in calgary.

I don't believe that is an allowed luggage item on the plane :) But, I will drink some in your honour at this weekend's event.

How long ago was that? IIRC that idea was squashed 10-15 years ago and it started coming from BC again.

Either way, I'll check our local supply and if it was brewed in BC I'd be glad to bring you some.

How many?

You can still get it in nb or pei. You can take beer in checked bags, but my brother lost a laptop that way.

Hey everyone
I just looked at the entry numbers and I think some more of our local drivers need to hurry up and register
Code:
21   ASCC
13   MMSC
8   Club Delta Quebec
5   NBSCC
4   MSOC
4   SCCA
4   SPDA
3   BAC
3   MCO
2   SASC
2   TLMC
1   AFRA
1   FMC
1   temporary
1   Vinland

I know NBSCC is very low - I'll be beating the bushes here, but where is everybody from Fredericton? I know there are a lot of good drivers from all over the region who aren't entered yet - why not???

Was planning on coming over to stake my claim on the stock classes, but sadly the car has sold (although not really that sad, truthfully). Not really sure what that means for the rest of the season :?

I'm at a conference in Scotland that week so won't be able to make it this year. Hopefully someone else will represent for the pickups!

Is anybody coming from Montreal area to Slalom @ Slemon? If so, please PM me, I would be grateful to have a small package (brake pads) delivered to Slemon. Parry Auto has them, and I'm trying to get ahold of Carl, but he's on vacation. Thanks!

Considering all options in case I decide tomorrow to sign up late with whatever car I can

What class is a 2009 Audi A3 2.0T Sline Quattro?

The front wheel drive is G-stock and the 3.2L V6 is D-stock, but this model is unlisted... Meet in the middle?

Also, reading through some of the car classes, I really do think whoever came up with some of these is completely daft.
