We are looking for a design for the Digby Double t-shirt for this year. We are looking for a graphic of Devon's 2013 autoslalom championship winning Scion FRS. If you have a photo or a graphic design, please post it here. This is the car Image

We are looking for something that will print well on a t-shirt, so in this style, or maybe even more simple:
Image

I know we asked for this last year, but due to poor timing, we were not able to pick or use one. We will strive to be more prompt and get this printed on time.

Thanks Everybody.

Hmmm...
What colors, if any, would you like to use?
What size would you like the final print to be ( I understand Vectors) ?
Any particular sponsors we need to have on, in the design?

This could be fun...come on people lets get some ideas on the board !!!

The plan is to make the t-shirt the same colour as the car, and the graphic in white.
The sponsors and logos will be on the front, probably same as last year's. I was trying to find mine, but can't at the moment. I think Debbie has the desin. The car would be on the back, so maybe 5-6" wide?

Of course, I'm sure we could be open to all new designs as well

That looks pretty cool. Will probably print well too. Maybe print in white? I need to get some more people to weigh in here, because I made the thread, but it isn't my decision.

I would try to clean it up a bit...the blurry parts will probably look crummy printed out. A nice line drawing with less detail would be sharp, something like kevin did in his other thread.

I don't have a ton of time to invest in this, but if you settle on something and need the lines punched, I can can mess with it on my drawing tablet and see if it looks okay... As long as I have the original image to trace for accuracy I can't image it looking too out of sorts.

Here is a version in White...

The problem with doing "this" particular car in a vector outline is it looses a lot...but I will put one together for you to look at.

You don't have to use the photo I posted. I think there are some better ones, that was just the first one I could find to show what car I meant. You do great work though, Kevin.

Much thanks Evan...BTW...I am using a photo I took to make the sample outline. I have googled the car to see if another version would offer a better test but nothing stands out when it comes to having a white outline on a blue background. I am looking into other methods of rendering the image to find a better test sample. Grey scale printing maybe a better solution, on say a white shirt.

OK, finally got them uploaded. If you need higher res copies let me know. I uploaded them to facebook (easiest) and I have it set to public so you folks SHOULD be able to see them.

Let me know if it works.

I don't know who it would be (maybe Devon?) but I thought that the winner of each year's Digby Double was going to go on the shirt for the following year's event
Is that not right? It's going to be the season's overall winner?

I believe it was to be the ASCC championship winning car, which was Devon. I checked the minutes, and I just put "winning car" The shirt last year was the 2012 ASCC Champion (Trevor in the Mustang).

You might want to thicken up the lines a bit. Printing really fine stuff like that on most silk screening gear its not going to have any longevity, it'll crack and flake really easily.

Remember...everything you see is just a test to flesh-out an idea...refinement comes a little later on !!! :P

PLEASE!!!...we need other peoples input...if you got a design "throw it on the table". :) :) :)

I am pretty sure it is supposed to be the winner of the ASCC championship, however, I agree, it should be of the last years DD winner. Either way, it's a great idea, just hoping we don't get bored of the same car year after year. DEVON!!! :orglaugh:

Well what placing would be the "winner" of the DD? Pax? FTD? Most drifting points? Most cones? :p

Hard to say, really. Everyone who goes has a great time, which makes everyone winners!
If I were to make the call it would either be FTD or FTD Pax. Likely Pax to even things up. And you may have won that too last year, you did awesome! :D

ASCC should discuss that and figure out specifically what it will be in future years (Overall ARMS winner? Which is now PAX based?)
It's not the sort of discussion you want to be having after the results of the events are official and individuals have more skin in the game :orglaugh:

FTD last year would be the locost/Scott S. I was curious about 2-day PAX so I actually added them up and sorted (Sorry, no fancy tables)

Code:
1.   Craig E     194.098
2.   Daniel M     196.983
3.   Devon T     197.004
4.   Joel N     197.137
5.   Trevor G     197.818
6.   Ben B     197.888
7.   Colin W     197.919
8.   Scott M     198.037
9.   Jonathan M     198.124
10.   Mike P     198.962
11.   Brian P     199.739
12.   Luc S     199.956
13.   Alan G     200.24
14.   Scott S     200.556
15.   Chris R     201.303
16.   Ralf G     202.091
17.   George S     202.983
18.   Taylor M     205.087
19.   Evan W     205.56
20.   Matthew E     205.812
21.   Micheal S     206.752
22.   Shawn G     206.993
23.   Stacy C     209.833
24.   Mitchell M     210.198
25.   Dave A     215.264
26.   Nick V     221.534

I omitted entries without times for both days. Results were pulled from the ASCC website.

I'm pretty sure that in the original meeting it was supposed to be the club champion. I'll dig up my old notes and see.
