Break out the r-comps! Only calling for 1mm now. I've had good luck so far with regards to weather. Only had to run the tiger paws once, let's keep it that way.

It may be a regional problem, but the forecasters I listen to can't even give an accurate prediction of what it is going to do in my area tomorrow, let alone several days away.

According to accuweater.com it says cloudy with a shower and 1mm, I may still make it down after all

GIANT warning comes up talking about 80mm of rain, but the actual forecast for that area is actually 1mm with sunshine by the afternoon.... What a terrible system.

I plan to put the nittos on regardless of forecast. If it rains I have no chance against AWD so I might as well have fun

Alan/Brian:
I will be picking up the O'Regan's sponsorship banner from Chris W. tonight (Friday) and will bring it to the event in the morning. I can't stay past 10:30am due to a prior commitment so if it can be packed up/given to someone local (Alan?) then I can retrieve it next week and get it back to Chris/O'Regans.

The Solo Committee would like to thank everyone for coming out today, we had a great day despite the damp forecast, no real rain happened and we had 23 entries!

Despite my inability to avoid cones, I had a blast today. That was definitely the most fun sackville course yet. Thanks to all the usual suspects!

Once I figured out that the course did in fact change since the last time out, it was fun!

A great day! Thank you to all the organizers.

Loved that course! Really liked the flow even if I couldn't see where my left front was at pretty much any time. The rally car surprised me at how fun it was. If we'd bothered to do any adjustments (pressure, struts) we probably could have made it reasonably competitive, but we were out to have fun. Mission accomplished. Thanks everyone!

Have to agree with Scott, hands down the best course in Sackville to date!

Big thanks to the organizers. A special thanks out to Joel and Trevor for giving us an extra 10 ft on the stop box - you're welcome, Ralf!

I really enjoyed that layout for Sackville... Had a lot of fun, all thanks to my first damp run on r-comps. See everyone in Moncton.

Thanks organizers, that course was so much fun, glad it stayed pretty dry out too.
Is it only the Moncton and AMP regionals left for the season now?

Great course today! Had lots of fun and managed to stay dry which was a plus. See everyone at the next one.
To answer the above question. Yes, as far as our points series goes, it is just those 2 events left i believe.

That's it for Regionals and ASCC events. Moncton has a club event tomorrow at Magic Mountain, but the Sept 29 Regional is the last one shown on their website. Keep a watch on the forums, they sometimes have a few extra events in October.

I am very happy to hear everyone liked the course. When we were setting it up we wanted to make sure we would be getting close to a 1 min run. And with fast times in the 53-55 sec range i was very happy. Glade everyone had a good time. for a bit it looked like Ben and Colin were going to run away with the event. Both doing a 52.XXX but with cones. Colin nailed a 53.1 cone free but ben rattled a cone over on his last run.

Yesterday's event was a fun one. Thanks to everyone that organized it. Joel, great course, best at the church yet. The stop box was a bit tight, but that's my own fault for staying on the gas to try to keep the back end out around that last corner.

I think I'll try the r-comps on the damp pavement next time. I was anticipating some rain and didn't want to chance it. It looks like it paid off for the people the went with the sticky rubber though.

I saw a bunch of cameras out, any chance that someone got a decent shot of my Volvo good and sideways that they'd like to share with me?

"Colin is so quiet... and then he just murders everyone"

Guess I'm like a slalom ninja! Thanks Mike!

Actually, you can see how close the times were and it really came down to getting a clean run, which was hard to do. Really hard.
Fun course though. Honestly, I kind of found it stressful. So much competition these days, plus my first three runs all had at least 2 cones per run...ugh...the pressure! :-P Had to slow down to keep the run clean.

Ben, your time is soon!

Does anyone have any other pictures? I don't do Facebook...
