$5k for 02s with ~250k seems to be about the going rate. But you're usually getting a thrashed street racer in those cases.

Nope. Would have had a hood scoop if it was a WRX. Still a good price for a TS though. Excellent RallyCross car!

Yup. Oregon Trail last weekend was absolutely BRUTAL on cars, so much attrition. It made me vaguely queasy. I know its inevitable, but I'm aiming for at least a few good years before we truly mess up our new car. :)

Dang, didn't look at the interior shot, just the data block that said Manual.

Kevin: They're generally pretty solid. Older 2.5Ls had 'not if, when' head gaskets but if they've already been replaced the revised gaskets were less prone to leaking. On a car of that age the struts are probably junk if they haven't been replaced and it'll quite likely have your typical japanese car rust issues. (Rear quarters, underside, etc) Its all the same due diligence you'd use buying any car of that age, nothing really special.

Mazda 323GTX. These things had pretty bulletproof motors. Turbo AWD and super light/nimble!

I don't think that's a GTX model Gord. Thats just a FWD, Non-turbo.
