I had a great day. Thanks again to Brian for letting me drive Leon. I wasn't as rusty as I thought I would be. 4 clean runs, and the last one was actually quick. I didn't finish last in the class. Hopefully I will be out for a few more next year in my own car.

Great event! Glad my car held up, I didn't even have it for 24 hours at that point.

In retrospect, this isn't the fastest way around, but sliding around and generally overdriving is much funner. That's right. Funner.

I had a blast at this event! And it was my worst showing...EVER!

I'm usually to stressed about beating my lap times, but this time I just said "to **** with it...don't even look at the times." I had tons of fun and eliminated some under-steering issues in the process.

The car's engine is working great, but I need to work out the kinks in my suspension. But most of all I need to show up to more than one event per year. :orglaugh:

I just noticed we had three Mike B's competing and two of them had almost the same car...

Well, Trevor diagnosed the noise in the front end of the Bullitt. Warped rotor on one side and bad wheel bearing on the other. The tick in the motor we think was just that the oil is too light....switching to a heavier synthetic next year. No Coyote yet....besides that would out us in a different class!
