Welcome.

Are you looking at full on Stage Rally?

Rallysport.ca, Shawn Bishop's shop in Calgary has done a lot for Local folks with equipment safety wise etc. Perry Auto is also very popular with the local folks.

Suspension and so forth can vary. Some folks look to the Quebec and Ontario area. There are several good shops in Quebec city that sell and service suspension etc.

So who are you, and are you new the region? :)

I am in Moncton, competed in a couple of auto slalom events but want to prepare a car for rallying nothing too fancy but with full cage and all the right safety bits. There must be a shop in the area that can prep cars.

There are names of a couple of folks we can give you for cage building in HRM. Be careful with this one, it can be very important. I am sure there are good people in Moncton as well. There are region folks up that was that can speak up.

We have several local competitors who are in Quebec from time to time competing or volunteering.
They can sometimes bring equipment back.

Buying built is always cheaper, but most Rallycars are in Quebec or Ontario.

If you find yourself in HRM, join us at one of the BAC rally cross events and ask some questions, meet some folks.

If you are interested in GC8 Impreza's, there are two due to be rebuilt here in HRM, and may be available for sale. I'll let the owner speak up himself.

:)

The GC8 Subaru's sound interesting but probably way too expensive.

There will be lots of folks at next Sunday's Rallycross at all levels including several of us with full rally cars, though most of us use dedicated RallyCross beaters. We'd all be happy to chat and do whatever we can to help out!

We don't do pre-registration so its hard to say. All the events so far this season have been in the 40ish driver range. Weather for Sunday looks decent. Dry and not super cold. I'd expect a decent turnout.
