Inspired by Dev mentioning Build threads I already had this one mostly started from the Atlantic Canada Subaru Club forum.
This is the 2000 2.5RS Rally car belonging to Ian Pearce and Myself. After a number of years of campaigning the Audi we started talking about changing up to something newer a few years ago. We had looked at a couple of built cars in Ontario but being the frugal (cheap!) buggers we are we never really took the next steps. Meanwhile Ian's significant other sold her 2.5RS Daily Drive to Jim Rankin who intended to build it into a rally car. Long story short within weeks the car was caged to a very high standard, had seats and harnesses and was pretty much ready to RallySprint. We were given the opportunity to buy it back at a pretty reasonable price for the work that went into it so we jumped on it. Over the last year and a bit we've built it up to a fully CARS spec Production 4WD car with all the required safety gear, tooling according to the rules. In the spring we picked up a Hotbits DT1 rally suspension which really changed the car and made it a ball on the stages.

Sticking with Production 4WD class keeps the modification bug in check and there's good competition locally to battle against. Bring on 2014!
