Well.....

Busy day in the woods yesterday. We have the route data down now, and some of the roads... oh my. :)

My Navigator swatted me several times for judicious use of throttle. So much fun. Also: The new Recce vehicle has a Stability program of some sort. It kept flashing at me and doing things. :)

This should be an entertaining event for Driver and Navigator. Some of this area has not been used for some time.

Rough info is 220km, Snow, and significant elevation changes.

Bring snacks.

I trust there is a rest (or more accurately, a rest room) stop included for those of us needing more frequent visits to the loo?

Asking for a friend... :|

You can ask for extra minutes before your time out at checkpoints. :)

I'll pass that on to my co-driver, and I've no doubt she'll be happy with that arrangement.

There is not an official rest room, no.

As mentioned though, it has been a long standing practice to allow extra time out at CP locations when requested for Medical/Comfort reasons. We will make sure to reiterate this to all CP crews. We are here to have fun after all. :)

Brigitte and I won't make it to this event but we wish all teams, marshals and organizers good luck, good driving and teamwork, and a safe evening of fun with cars. Thanks to Ian, Sonia, Jim, and the rest of the organizers and checkpoint crews who make this rally possible. We look forward to seeing the results posted online and hearing some stories at the next BAC meeting at the end of the month.

Safe travels and have fun!

Gary

A sincere thanks to everyone who came out and attended, and especially those who volunteered their time to Checkpoint, Steward, Organize, and otherwise contribute to the event.

Judging by the faces at the finish control, I think most had a good time. :)
