Hope everyone is recovered from their hangovers, its time to RallyCross again! Here's hoping we have a nice solid lot to work with, the temperatures and lack of rain certainly look good! Dave says he drove by the lot the other day and there were some tracks visible from the highway showing that someone's been in there hooning, I'm sure it can be worked around though.

Anyone get any rally toys for Christmas?

See you Sunday! (Sunday, sunday!)

Sorry Brian, but this is actually not the first of the 3 regionals. Stay tuned for an update on the regional series.

Round 2 was a mix of wet and cold, but worth the adventure!

Results will be posted soon...promise

See you at the next one on January 18th 2015 at the AMP lot.

**Also, if you want to try out a Navigational Rally- Jim Theriault and Ian Pearce have organized an event for January 10th 2015. Check out the forum topic to view the Supplemental Regulations for more information about the 1st Regional Navigational Rally of the season! viewtopic.php?f=55&t=13495

Thanks for another fun event, Cindy et al.. Things went really smooth, and everybody in the Mazda had a blast! Unfortunately it looks like we abused the little car a little too much today and tore a rear toe link off on the highway home. Hopefully parts will arrive in time for AMP!

That'll make the handling interesting.

In car video:
Alex's 4th run

Gordon's 4th run

Ian's 4th run

The Mazda 323 RWD? Or should that be FWD?

The rear wheels can barely keep themselves attached to the body. no way i'd let them push the car... Unfortunately it's the FWD model. Speaking of, anybody know if that GTX on our forum ever sold?

My photos from 4 Jan 2015 are now available at:

http://www.bluenoseautosport.ca/hmmerk/ ... /index.htm

They are supposed to be sorted by car/driver in starting order for the first run. But there are probably some errors.
They are a little darker than intended. The computer I usually use is in the shop and I guess I haven't yet calibrated my eyes to the computer and monitor I used instead. You may also notice that the lower right corner of some pictures is low in contrast: water on the lens.

Here are some samples:

Thanks so much for standing out there, Harold! It was not a day fit for humans! It got vastly more comfortable when I just resigned to using my helmet as a ski goggles though! At least my eyeballs weren't being sandblasted anymore!
