So far things look good. Dave says AMP is ready for the event and the forecast looks cold and, more importantly, dry enough so far. Cross your fingers and stay tuned!

Who's coming out??

Awesome!

Weather is looking great. Decently cold. Snow, not rain all week. Should actually be able to break in AMP finally!

If we can dig the scirocco out of whatever snow bank we left her in, some of us will be there.

Hopefully the weather cooperates.

Dave was out there yesterday doing significant plowing and said it looks like we have a decent base. Temperatures and projected snowfall all still look good. Its going to be a slidy-one!

RallyCrosses are self-tech according to the specs in the CARS GCRs. Be there by 10:30 and we'll be first car off around 11! Bring your best winters! Its probably going to be slippy!

That was a lot of fun. The very definition of a challenging but not infuriating course. Snow covered ice with just enough grip, worked really well if you managed traction patch to traction patch. I had a lot of fun!

Hope everyone made it home safe, there was less traction on the 102 than there was on the RallyCross course! I've never seen so many cars in the ditches! 8O

Huh. Had no idea I was o/c my 4th run. Knew I had cones but I thought I was on the right side of all of them.

(edit) Just watched the video... I was on the right side of all of them... all 4 laps. :)

And of course my 3rd run was 2nd fastest overall and its not on camera. CONSPIRACY! (Says the guy who pushed the wrong button and recorded the paddock for 15 minutes)

My photos from March 2 are now posted at:

http://www.bluenoseautosport.ca/hmmerk/ ... /index.htm

The photos are grouped by driver, in chronological order for each driver, and the driver order is as for the first run.

Jeff, for most of the cars there are pictures from both the first and second runs. In the middle of the sequence there should be a photo of the finish of the first or the start of the second (or both) to indicate the break between runs. For the 4th driver of the Sirocco, however, I misunderstood the running order and we have the second run only. And for the Suzuki we have the first and third runs, although that 'third run' was actually his second. Which makes the Suzuki the only car we see doing the run in the reverse direction. (I forgot to bring my camera's 'raincoat' and the melting snow was causing odd malfunctions of the camera; I didn't want to risk permanent damage by staying out in the snow longer.) - Harold
