Well, we're keeping an eye on the forcast and the snow accumulation that's coming. Rumors of 30cm on Friday which could pose an issue. If AMP gets that much its a hard bet on whether or not Racetrack Road will be plowed and the track will be accessible. Since nobody lives on the road its a very low priority and from what I'm told in previous years if the snow comes heavy on Friday its a gamble on whether or not it will be done by Sunday. I'll try and have a go-no go declared by Friday but this is a tricky one to judge. Check this post or the RallyEast website/Facebook group for updates!

Dave Hull has graciously already been to AMP and cleaning up the paddock area to make it accessible, but the back 40 hasn't been touched so its likely a good solid base. Could be pretty slippery/sideways! We do still need volunteers as always to help out so if you can lend a hand please let me know!

You'll have two new drivers and a new two wheel drive car if the weather allows... 8)

If the race goes ahead, myself and Jordan can arrive early to help with setup. I don't want to be responsible for choosing a course layout.

Cheers,
Gregor

Its not looking good. Unless some miracle of weather scrubs almost all the snow we're getting tomorrow there's very little guarantee we'll be able to use the lot or even possibly reach it.

I'll make the official call tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.

Sorry folks, with the weather received today and uncertainty of whether Racetrack Road leading to AMP will be clear in time or that we'll be able to even make a path through the Back 40 I think its just safer to scrub this one.

Thanks go to Dave Hull for his road scouting and prep work at AMP. The upside of this is that we should have a pretty good base to run on when we do finally hit AMP!

Next event is January 19th at Scotia Speed World! Stay tuned!
